I’ve had my Sony Bravia 2 55-inch 4K TV since Christmas, and after several months of daily use, I can confidently say it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home entertainment setup. I use it for everything from binge-watching TV shows and movies to gaming, and it performs exceptionally well across the board. The picture quality is stunning, with crisp details, vibrant colors, and deep contrast that make every scene look incredible. Whether I’m streaming a new series, watching a movie with family, or spending a few hours gaming, the image remains sharp and immersive. Easy to set up. Picture quality and clarity is amazing. Perfect for my 20x20 family room. Staff support during purhcase was professional. Sales staff were knowledgeable and did not try to oversell me. Definitely a fan.

The bedroom TV died and I found this TV. The reviews were good and the size was what we were looking for. Great picture and the TV speakers are decent. If you want a great TV on a budget this is the TV for you!

Amazing TV for the price

This TV was purchased to replace a 40" Sony LCD TV. We swapped out some furniture in our bedroom and wanted a larger TV, and this 55" 4K Sony TV was a perfect fit. I mounted it high on the wall so now we can lie in bed and feel like we're at a movie theater. Sony TVs will always be my first choice!

I like the quality it looks very good and bright , however i wish i would hage gotten a QLED or OLED instead of just LED becuas you can see the backlight glare but overall its still really good.

PRETTY EASY TO SET UP. HAVE ALL YOUR APP'S INFO READY LOGIN ,PASSWORD ETC... READY, PICTURE IT EXCELLENT. THE 4K IF WHAT YOUR WATCHING IS IN 4K TAKES SOME GETTING USE TO. WIFE COULDN'T WATCH THIS WAY. LUCKY YOU CAN SHUT IT OFF. PLAY WITH THE SETTING FAR A COUPLE OF DAYS ETC... TILL U GET THE PICTURE QUILITY YOUR LOOKING FOR. OH, HEADS UP, YOU CAN NOT HAVE SPEAKERS ON AND HEADPHONE O AT SAME TIME.NO MATTER WHAT IS ADVERTIZED. CALLED TECH SUPPORT AND THEY HAD TO GO TO ENGINERING TO FIND OUT THE INFO. IS WRONG. BUT THEY INFORMED ME THAT WITH AN ADAPTER THAT PLUGS INTO THE FIBER OPTIC PORT ON TV YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK. PURSHASED A CHEAP ONE TO SEE IF WORKED ,OK. PURSHASED A MORE EXPENCIVE ONE & WORKED MUCH BETTER. SPEND THE MONEY.YOUR EARS WILL THANK U.

Super nice tv! Bought one for my mom during black Friday sale and accidentally got one slightly too big because I didn’t understand the sizing but she’s OBSESSED with the tv! Always on it and even got a new table for it. Looks super clear, runs smoothly, and was easy to set up! Would definitely get this tv again.

Between Good and Very Good

I appreciate the look of the display, colors tones and textures are natural, blacks and contrast support the palette. The only critical comment is that it could be a tad brighter. If your room is bright or has daylight pouring in, look elsewhere. This is my first Google TV. It takes a bit of attention to learn the functions and navigation but the setup was quite easy . I like the OTA channel guide and favorites implementation. Sound is just adequate and is what I would expect from a thin TV, but I don't use it. A Gripe We watch local channels OTA. Time Shift for OTA TV is a very important feature for me and the lack of it in a TV in this price range is glaring, but my research showed that most manufactures do not implement this function in the USA. It seems this an agreement to force you to buy local channels and it is infuriating. AI searches regarding whether ate has the feature are mostly wrong. TCL is about the only manufacturer that gives it to you. We have one, but wanted a better picture in the new TV, hence the Bravia. I got around the issue by buying a Tablo DVR ($100) which allows program recording etc. It works well and integrates on the Sony well. It's early days yet so time will tell if my rating changes.

This TV is almost perfect. The picture quality is outstanding. The speakers could be better. Even with tuning it to allow for less treble and more base, it sounds tinny. The remote is rather small and it isn't lighted. The Free Google channels are good and so are the other apps we have installed. We're saving over $100 streaming. We had Spectrum TV with the cable box. We don't miss it at all.

Great Bravia

I purchased a Sony Bravia in 2009 and have been completely satisfied for 16 years. Recently I noticed the picture was not as bright as before. After much consideration, I decided it was time to upgrade. I went to Best Buy and saw this 55” Bravia that would fit perfectly in my space and it was on sale! I have had the tv for about 3 weeks now and love it. Picture quality is great and sound is clear. I’m 75 now and looking forward to this Sony lasting 16 years or more! Oh, by the way, I gave the old tv to a worker at my apartment complex and he is using it and enjoying it!
