Good picture, easy menus, but was buggy!

My longtime lg oled tv was starting to give me headaches, it was old and needed replaced. I decided on this Sony Bravia 3 ii. I play a lot of games mostly and wanted something to see Red Dead online better specifically. If I can fix this they should all look good. I had to make several adjustments out of the box to my liking. But was very happy with the picture. Then my longtime LG soundbar (plugged in hdmi arc) stopped working. Google tells me it could be compatibility issues. So I unplugged, tried new hdmi, hard power cycle the tv and soundbar. Didn’t work, ordered optical cable. It fixed that. Next day my Switch Dock will not power on with the switch in it. Got a different dock it was working. Next day I noticed that while the tv was off the soundbar was on. Thought that’s weird. Turned it off. The soundbar came back on. Then it would keep changing from hdmi to optical. Thought something wrong with the remote. Took batteries out. Unplugged soundbar from tv and power. Tried again, same thing. Turned the tv on, the soundbar is not working - again! This time still with optical cable connected. Something is wrong with my tv. Idk what exactly. I still had my oled so I swapped them. The soundbar thank goodness is working still and not fried like it did the switch dock. Took it back to Best Buy and ordered another LG(QNED) I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. It’s really strange and never heard of anything like this happening. I get a TCL with Google for bedroom once and I had problems with it too. So I’m not sure at this point if it’s Google or what. ,also when changing settings for brightness, color etc, the screen kept going black when making selections. When I first got it, it wasn’t doing that. Good luck!!

Great TV for price

Good picture quality and nice TV for price. Returned first TV due to issues with black screen, but Best Buy gave no problems with exchange and set up of new TV. Very happy so far!

My Sony TV 55”

I purchased this 55” Sony TV and installed in our patio so we can watch our favorite shows while enjoying eating, chatting with our family and friends. It’s a perfect size where we hang it besides the clarity and colorful features of the Sony TV. I also purchased the 85” Sony TV and changed our TV in our living room - all perfect for our family’s needs.

Good Price Point Sony TV

This is a great TV at a good price point. I love the slim profile. The anti glare is great from watching at any angle, plenty of ports, sound has great quality and the picture is super clear with great color and contrast. This was a good buy.

Excellent mid range Sony Bravia offering clear picture very life like without being overdone. Squali is good without a soundboard edition purchased this television for the master bedroom and we are very happy.

This tv really give you the best ban for your buck the details and colors are absolutely beautiful at first I thought I might have spent a little to much on a tv but after using it for a week or two I definitely did not regret getting this Sony Tv very easy to install and use love this product would recommend to anyone looking for a nice tv that doesn’t cost thousands of dollars 10/10

This is typical Sony. Picture and color are good but the sound is low. You have to do adjust sound to the max for louder clarity.

To boost the audio baseline, please go to Settings > Display & Sound > Sound > Volume level and increase the Volume offset. You can also run the Acoustic Auto Calibration in your sound settings to automatically optimize audio based on your room's layout, or visit https://www.sony.com/electronics/support for further assistance.

Pretty average picture but above-average price.

Picture is pretty average in brilliance and sharpness. Price was a little high, I think, in comparison with other makes. Encountered difficulty in dealing with the on-line registration proicess. Was cluttered with a lot of unnecessary messaging. Did not receive any instructions on how to manage the remote control. Am now in a steep do-it-yourself learning curve. Should have had some printed material in the documents provided to get me started. Voice activation was accompanied by a shrill female voice in broken English and was very annoying in that it announced every volume change and made a lot of unnecessary comments about programming. Voiced activation stopped working after two days, and later returned after I unplugged the power cord and re-plugged. The annoying female voice is not there now.
