Purchased this TV to replace a 20+ year old Sony Bravia. Great replacement: superb picture quality and sound. The sound was enhanced by connecting my existing sound system. Google TV supports numerous apps to include the Spectrum who is my cable provider but doesn't support as many as Roku. From my limited time owning this TV, overall I am greatly satisfied with the basics of the TV, just some functionality could be improved. For instance, there is no button on the remote to toggle closed captioning on/off (must be done though the settings option). Additionally, closed captioning only allows on/off, there is no option to select only on replays. There is no quick access to local channels like on my older model or another smart TV I own where I could simply use the up/down channel button to get to the channels attached to my digital antenna. Helpful to watch the local/national news without having to access the Spectrum app. There is no composite inputs; on the other hand, there are four HDMI inputs. There was no user manual and the online help appeared to be limited and out of sync with this specific model.

Hi JDS60,
We are glad you love your new BRAVIA 6 OLED, though we are sorry for the frustrations with the remote, manual, and missing features. To make toggling closed captions faster, you can set up an accessibility shortcut by holding the Mute button under Settings > Accessibility, and you can use an analog-to-HDMI converter for legacy devices. For comprehensive help guides and up-to-date manuals, please visit https://www.sony.com/electronics/support.
Thanks for choosing Sony.

This is our main TV located in our family room. It replaced a Sony Bravia that was over 20 years old and never needed a repair. I like the picture clarity, the medium size that works well in a smaller family room. I have not initiated the sound options, but am looking forward to settling some of those loud commercials and loud areas in programs. I wish there were numbers on the remote for ease of changing channels.

Hi SUSANB,
It brings us great joy to hear that you have been such a loyal part of the family for over two decades with your previous Sony Bravia, and that your new Sony BRAVIA 6 is carrying on that legacy as the perfect medium-sized centerpiece for your family room!
We appreciate your thoughtful feedback regarding the remote control and look forward to you exploring the audio features soon, which will definitely help smooth out those sudden volume spikes during loud commercials and intense program scenes.
Thank you for trusting Sony for all these years and for making us a part of your entertainment story.

The picture and sound quality from this TV is great, and this TV has been an incredible upgrade from an old Samsung LCD TV when watching movies/TV shows, and playing games on PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X. Where this TV falls short for me is in the user experience: it doesn't feel as "set and forget" as previous Sony TVs that I've used; though I'm not 100% sure whether that's from the TV itself of the input sources being used. I feel like I'm always in the settings menus of this TV looking to adjust or turn off specific settings more than any other TV I've used. If you plan to use the built-in Google TV interface with a soundbar, and maybe one other dedicated input, you'll probably have a great, enjoyable experience with this TV. However, my experience of trying to manage/swap between multiple inputs has been more of a headache than I would have expected so far...

Thank you for the feedback, Brianh!
We are so glad to hear that the picture and sound quality are giving you such an incredible upgrade for your movies and your gaming sessions on the PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X.
We also really appreciate you calling out how the user experience and managing multiple inputs have been getting in the way of a smooth, set and forget setup. We want these TVs to be as effortless to use as they are stunning, so we are definitely passing your notes along to our design and software teams to keep in mind for future updates and designs.
Thank you for choosing Sony!
