Hi Jamela,

We couldn't be happier to hear you are enjoying the clear pictures and excellent sound quality of your new Sony BRAVIA XR8B, and we're glad you feel you got a good deal on your purchase!

We understand you are still learning the settings and finding the picture a little too dark for your taste. To easily adjust the brightness and fine-tune your picture to perfection, we recommend consulting our dedicated Picture Settings guide:

This guide walks you through options like Brightness and Gamma, which you can adjust to brighten the overall look of the image.

Hi JohnV,
Thanks for bringing this up. We're really sorry if there’s been any confusion or disappointment. You’re absolutely right that the Bravia 8 and Bravia XR8B aren’t identical when it comes to picture quality; the XR8B doesn’t include our Triluminos display or contrast booster features, which can definitely make a difference in brightness and color performance.

We always want to be upfront about what each model offers so you can pick what works best for you.

Thanks for considering Sony products and for your feedback.
Sincerely,
Estefany
