Absolutely love this TV! The picture quality is amazing — super bright colors and deep blacks. Everything looks so clear and realistic. Despite what the rep might tell you the Sony Bravia 8 and Sony Bravia XR8B absolutely do not have the same picture quality. Bravia xr8b lacks tri luminous and contrast booster making the xr8b noticeably darker

You’re absolutely right that the Bravia 8 and Bravia XR8B aren’t identical when it comes to picture quality; the XR8B doesn’t include our Triluminos display or contrast booster features, which can definitely make a difference in brightness and color performance.

Honestly a good well rounded oled! The sound is amazing for just the tv alone. The quality of the picture is also amazing. Only caveat it doesn't go as bright as my LG G1 oled but its mostly going to be our bedroom tv so its always dark.

This is by far the best tv I have ever owned. My flagship tv up to this point is a warranty replacement of my Samsung 55" OLED from 2019. Not a bad tv at all, I didn't like situation of how I got it with the tv I purchased and owning for less than 2 years going out on me. The Sony tv by far has a much better viewing and sound experience. After reading about the differences between this model and the top model, I can see that the blacks are slightly pixelated but I have no problem living with that. I mounted this tv in my bedroom and have not looked back at all. Just wondering which sony model will be my new flagship model in the basement...

Bought this after purchasing a 65" Sony A80H OLED a few years ago. Needed a new one for the bedroom to replace the old 720p Plasma Insignia we've had for 20 years. Didn't want to go with LED or anything with a low refresh rate. When you are used to Plasma smoothness and black levels, even the decent LEDs are terrible. And the motion jitter make my wife nauseous. The Sony OLEDs are amazing TVs. Love the quality, color, black levels, etc. This one was a great price point, especially for a bedroom TV that was not the main living room TV. Good sound too! Would highly recommend.

Great picture, great sound for factory tv speakers, and easy user interface. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the remote did not have backlighting like other Sony OLED TVs. I purchased a factory replacement with the backlighting and it works like it should.

Oled is Oled is Oled. It will be what Oled is meant to do. Not great in bright rooms, but once you have ambient light under control, the color and contrast is beautiful. Sony has the best color IMO, and the processor is fast and makes the UI navigable and responsive

Very much enjoying this television. First time I have owned and OLED TV and first time owning a 55" unit as well. East set up, great picture and when I paired with a Bose sound bar, awesome audio to match the video! I am not seeing the dark video that other reviews commented on. Highly recommend this unit!

This is one of the best TVs on store and value for money from Bestbuy. Picture quality especially for movies and apps is excellent. Couple of areas for Sony to consider is the sound quality and brightness especially in bright light condition, that will make it more rounded tv.

We've had Sony TVs for years, primarily because we think they have the best picture. This one is no exception. Its the first OLED TV we've had and looking at it alongside other brands' OLED TVs in the store, again had the best picture.
