Absolutely love this TV! The picture quality is amazing — super bright colors and deep blacks. Everything looks so clear and realistic. The sound is surprisingly good for such a slim TV, and Google TV makes everything super easy to use. It looks beautiful in my living room and feels like a premium product. Definitely worth it — highly recommend!

Clear pictures, excellent sound quality, and i think i got a good deal on this tv. Im still learning how to operate the settings as it is a little too dark for my taste

Xr8b picture quality is below the Bravia 8

Despite what the rep might tell you the Sony Bravia 8 and Sony Bravia XR8B absolutely do not have the same picture quality. Bravia xr8b lacks tri luminous and contrast booster making the xr8b noticeably darker

You’re absolutely right that the Bravia 8 and Bravia XR8B aren’t identical when it comes to picture quality; the XR8B doesn’t include our Triluminos display or contrast booster features, which can definitely make a difference in brightness and color performance.

This TV has been amazing, such an upgrade from our fire tv before. Very easy to use and set up, navigation is just different than what we had prior. Overall the picture is way more detailed, you get so much more of the scene and the color is just beautiful.

Honestly a good well rounded oled! The sound is amazing for just the tv alone. The quality of the picture is also amazing. Only caveat it doesn't go as bright as my LG G1 oled but its mostly going to be our bedroom tv so its always dark.

This is by far the best tv I have ever owned. My flagship tv up to this point is a warranty replacement of my Samsung 55" OLED from 2019. Not a bad tv at all, I didn't like situation of how I got it with the tv I purchased and owning for less than 2 years going out on me. The Sony tv by far has a much better viewing and sound experience. After reading about the differences between this model and the top model, I can see that the blacks are slightly pixelated but I have no problem living with that. I mounted this tv in my bedroom and have not looked back at all. Just wondering which sony model will be my new flagship model in the basement...

Great bang for the buck

Bought this after purchasing a 65" Sony A80H OLED a few years ago. Needed a new one for the bedroom to replace the old 720p Plasma Insignia we've had for 20 years. Didn't want to go with LED or anything with a low refresh rate. When you are used to Plasma smoothness and black levels, even the decent LEDs are terrible. And the motion jitter make my wife nauseous. The Sony OLEDs are amazing TVs. Love the quality, color, black levels, etc. This one was a great price point, especially for a bedroom TV that was not the main living room TV. Good sound too! Would highly recommend.

I had an LG C1 for over 4 years and it’s been a great TV. Reliable and great picture quality. I had a ps5 and wanted a Sony to have better compatibility with remote and other things and found this Sony at my local store at a great price. I brought it home and put the LG away. It wool me a couple of days to tweak this TV to my liking. I even thought of returning it and keeping the LG for now. I spent consider time to get the best picture quality out of it and now I see the difference. Sony picture can’t be beat. This is my third Sony and I’m kinda sad they are moving away from TVs. Grab I e while you can… it’s worth the premium..

Very much enjoying this television. First time I have owned and OLED TV and first time owning a 55" unit as well. East set up, great picture and when I paired with a Bose sound bar, awesome audio to match the video! I am not seeing the dark video that other reviews commented on. Highly recommend this unit!

This tv was purchased as a better value than the Bravia 8 version 1 and is mostly the same tv and certainly worth the price paid. Excellent blacks, great color and good brightness for my setting. If you are watching in a very sunny room with many windows it may not be bright enough but that is not an issue for my situation. The included smart tv and app functions are so good that i did not reconnect my google tv 4k box as the built in functions are just as good.

I was on the fence about purchasing this TV but when I saw it in person, I was blown away by its performance and picture clarity compare compared to other models and it’s price range. It is 100% worth the money especially if you can get it at a good sale price I purchased mine for $999.99
