I bought these speakers for our boat. They sound really good even though they are inexpensive. I have had them on the lake about 10 times already, and have exposed them to water several times with no problems. I have no amp, and run these just off the head unit. I specifically bought these due to the power ratings. They do not require much power to get them screaming. They could use a little more bass, but I was still able to remove bazooka tube and have good sound.

Excellent sounding speakers that also provided an upgrade to the looks of our boat interior. You really can't go wrong with these!

Super loud and excellent for using in a cooler stereo project. I've only had them for a couple months so I can't say much about their longevity.

I replaces 4 inch oem speakers with these Sony marine speakers and now have a 23 foot floating jukebox. With blue tooth radio we can listen to all our favorite songs. LOVE IT!

Decent looking speakers, and they give the appearance of a separate tweeter, but it's just a dual cone woofer. The bass is good and deep, but there's just no high frequencies at all.

I bought these with a sony head unit and amp for my 19ft jetboat. I was kinda sad they didn't have the older sony speakers that were 2-way I normally buy 2-way speakers but after all said and done I don't notice that they are not. I guess being open up those tweeters in the 2 way probably wouldn't do much anyways. I put 4 of these in my boat and the sony marine amp powers these things amazingly. I was nervous that I didn't splurge for a sub but after having this setup for a year it sounds fine without it. Fore the price I definitely recommend these speakers. Pros *Cheep *Great Sound *Look good Cons *not 2-way

I bought a head unit/speaker combination last year. Both only lasted one season. The speakers dry rotted and the head unit is touchy. Not bad sound at first. Not a bad bargain price for a disposable set.
