They sound pretty good, I have them running ~40watts rms and the frequency range is ~80-20khz. Good sound for the price, however wish they came with grills, and wish the mounting surface had a foam or rubber ring to mitigate rattling at lower frequencies (I added foam myself) but overall a good speaker.

I purchased this set alongside the 6.5 of the same series. These fit perfectly. However, the 6.5's did not. So, I had to return both sets because there isn't any adapter available for my car as per Best Buy's Technical Support staff. I do perform a sound test with these speakers against the Kenwood's Sports Series. Even though Sony's speakers had decent bass, the highs were muffled. Which is odd for a speaker that has a tweeter. Naturally, when you are in a car with the climate control fan running or the windows opened, you need to hear those highs.

Very affordable speaker upgrade. For only $100 the sound quality is very good and really fulls out the lower end of the music.

The speakers are great, and the sound is excellent. They do tend to vibrate some when the bass is turned way up, but I do not do that too often.

Replaced 2010 Ram 1500 speakers with these and they sound amazing.

They are nice speakers, and they were great. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve come with the top piece so you didn’t have to buy it extra.
