My Honest Review of my Awesome NEW TV!!
I just purchased this TV in March 2023. Therefore I can only review what I have experienced so far. If this app allows you to do an update, I certainly will! Its a 65" Google tv. All the apps similar to Roku are pre-loaded, however this is NOT a Roku tv! It has usb and 4 hdmi ports, 2 of which are hdmi 2.1. It has digital audio output. The picture is amazing, visually stunning! That said, I had to do my own adjustments, as the settings out of the box, dont do this tv justice. I use antenna only, and my area only broadcasts in 720p. The picture looks good even at 720. I got on YouTube and used their 4k streaming videos to setup my tv. WOW, what a difference!! I used the vivd setting but lowered the beightness a bit as it was too much at max setting. There are color adjustments as well. I dont understand the alphabet/ number soup, but each has its purpose, for cinematic and game experiences. I found the one for me, and when I get my ps 3 hooked up, it may need a setting change. Sound is excellent through the built in speakers. Good bass and high end sound! I havent hooked up my receiver yet, but the tv's digital out will connect to my receiver for optimal surround sound. I dont need a sound bar, and can say the complaints about similar models being hard to hear even @ max volume!! Unless youre having a major party or operating a jackhammer, these complaints are unfounded! The remote: a slim basic remote with no clutter of buttons like the LG remotes. This nodel has voice control for certain functions and searches. No numeric keys, and the vcr like controls are now just a center wheel that does the functions for fast forward/ rewind, pause, play. It also has cursor control for operating the tv menus. Easy layout to access tv channels, volume and changing channels, and APP selection button, settings button. Well thiught out, but the sacrifice of clutter means LOTS of cursor pressing is required for operating the tv. The tv has foot stands versus a pedestal. They are very skinny and plastic. This is my only fear of sturdiness and support. Right now the tv is on the carpeted floor til my new stand arrives. That will be the true test for stability! Pros: picture quality connectivity/ external inputs of usb, hdmi. sound quality Ease of setup Fairly easy navigation through menus. Simplified, uncluttered remote. Voice command control. l Cons: The complex assortment of menus and navigation. Sacrifice of remote space, means LOTS of button pressing to navigate through all the settings and functions of the tv. legs with plastic feet versus a pedestal stand PLEASE NOTE: The pictures I uploaded are actual photos from the tv . Youtube allows you to view 4k videos, so I took stills with my cell phone in the completely dark room. They just dont do the ACTUAL tv picture quality justice. So ifcyou enlarge the photos, the quality degradew greatest so dont do it. Just know that the ACTUAL tv picture quality is infinitely better!!!

Great TV for under $1000
The Sony Bravia XR X90K 4K HDR has a clear, sharp and bright picture with lots of features you won’t get on less expensive models. With most all newer TV’s the speakers are behind the screen and are small, so the sound is just OK. You will probably want to consider a reasonably priced sound bar for better sound. The full array LED contrast (QLED) with controlled area backlighting is so much better than LED edge lighted sets. The Google TV and Google assistant works well. Two HDMI 2.1 inputs as well as one (ARC) HDMI is provided for output to sound bars. Two USB ports are also provided. 4K UHD resolution provides good action without blurring of fast moving objects and people. The 120 Hz refresh rate means smooth lifelike viewing. We are using one of the many featured streaming services, Google U Tube TV and it works well even with our slow internet speeds. The normal over the air antenna allows us to get about 60 channels for free and they come in well on this set. Loving the voice controlled remote control too! Many more features that we are still exploring. $31 per year for electrical cost which is about average for this size and type of TV, so this model is not considered energy efficient. However you can’t go wrong with a Sony IMO!

Amazing TV that survived the terrible delivery
This TV has been amazing for me, the blacks on this tv screen in particular is its strong point. I saw other reviews complaining about this TV having blooming issues when displaying super contrasty images. Another complaint I saw was the brightness levels but the TV has done well with the blinds being open during the day. I personally have not came across that myself. The other positive with this TV is the color accuracy, this is a TV that I have not felt the need to fiddle with the picture settings to get a picture to make things seem centered in reality. This TV is incredibly fluid and responsive and this goes into how the Android TV operating system works. I have rarely seen any of the menus stutter, and chrome casting and airplay have been mostly without hitch (sometimes it has been finicky). Some minor gripes I have is not all the HDMI's are 2.1 and the speakers on this TV are serviceable, but honestly I don't really get bothered by speakers since I always hookup my own sound system. The other gripe to this TV doesn't seem to talk to my older sound system that well. Every time I turn on my TV it seems to be convinced that the sound system is at max volume and will only let me to turn the volume down from the level I have started at when I first turned the TV on. I am not sure if it is an issue with the 10 year old sound system, or the TV but I thought to mention this minor grievance. On to the delivery. I bought this TV Open Box Excellent with Geek Squad delivery. Come the night before the delivery got switched to a third party service and never asked if that was ok or if I was willing to wait to make sure it was through Geek Squad. The third party service hit every wall while also carrying the TV to my apartment upside down, I went to open the box, and found out that there was only the TV and no cables or stand that were supposed to come with the TV. So I had to waste a whole morning to try to get the parts that I needed, which left me with third party accessories, having to travel to yet another BestBuy cause they didn't want to get in trouble for giving me what they had of TV stand in store, and then never giving me the initially promised $100 off for the inconvenience. All my disappointment with this TV come from the service I was given and not the TV itself. I am happy that I actually love this TV even with all the struggle it was to get the TV. I guess this is more of a buyer beware with open box items, you might have to fight to get what was in the listing you bought.

Beautiful Picture
Love this tv!! I took a chance switching over from being a long time Samsung buyer after being shown the difference in the true to life colors Sony offers. The colors are brilliant during day or evening viewing. This was an initial concern as one of the sales person said this would be a better for basement viewing. If anything, I lowered the brightness a notch. This is also first tv where I didn't sit for hours on end messing with the color settings. Turned off the things I didn't want like power saving etc, but no extra tweaking involved. My room has many windows but I just shut blinds if watching during the day and my tv picture is still brilliant. At night lamp is always on. Thrilled I finally took the plunge and purchased this tv - no regrets!!

My 65in. Sony TV.
Sony TVs are my favorite. They can do practically anything you need them to do. They are great for gaming, watching those high resolution videos or movies, and even connecting it to your computer. Can you imagine a 65 inch monitor, that’s crazy right but you can do it and work from your recliner if you want to. Awesome and amazing TV.
