Q: How does this tv compare to 65 inch LG oled
A: I would say that this tv has way better motion handling than the lg oleds. It also had better near black shadow details.
Q: Are you able to mount this tv? And if so which tv mount would you recommend?
A: Hi GB91, You can install this TV on a wall and you may use a wall-mount that supports VESA hole pattern of 15 3/4 x 7 7/8 inch (400 x 200 mm). -Jerome
Q: What's the difference between OLED and LED besides price on this same Sony TV model?
A: Televisions based on Organic Light Emitting Diode display technology are fundamentally different from LCD TVs. The most basic difference is that each pixel provides its own illumination, while all of the pixels in an LCD TV are illuminated by an LED backlight. That difference leads to all kinds of picture quality effects, some of which favor LCD, but most of which benefit OLED.
A: I don't think it's worth messing with. I was worried that the angle would cause problems with geometric distortion since TV screens have been perpendicular forever. But after using it for a couple of weeks now, I can report that I have absolutely no perception of the angle at all when watching programs (I'm sure the sheer size of the screen helps). The TV's mechanical design also counterbalances the weight of the main screen with a heavy weight on the bottom of the much lighter back panel to keep the set stable, and both parts are connected at the bottom with a non-adjustable metal bar that keeps the whole thing firmly triangular. If you tried to raise the back upwards to make the screen more perpendicular to the floor, I think you'd risk putting too much weight forward and destabilizing the entire set -- all for no practical benefit in one's perception of the picture. Believe me, I do understand why you're asking -- but in my opinion iit's just not likely to be a problem.
Q: If you are wallmounting this tv does the kickstand piece remove or stay on?
A: Does not detach. The mounting points on the kickstand piece.
Q: Is the sound loud enough coming from the screen or do you need the sound bar?
A: Depending on your room size and viewing/listening discretion a sound bar will certainly give you a "better" sound. But, the sound from the screen and the amazing subwoofer in the back produces a truly unexpected good to great sound. One suggestion, try the Screen sound first. You can always add a bar if it isn't good enough for you.
