A: This lens works incredibly well with the Sony A6500. I use it to shoot hockey pictures in a dimly lit rink. While it's not as great in low light as an f/2.8 constant aperture lens would be, the f/4 is plenty capable for what I use it for at a fraction of the cost. I just compensate by slowing down the shutter speed and kick the ISO up a little. The A6500 handles noise very well and my pictures look much better than the kit lens for this model.
