We were looking for a new TV and after doing research and looking in person we decided on this Sony best choice we ever made and we do own this TV !! we had an LG 8570 and this just blows it out of the water.out of the box this TV is outstanding Google TV is smooth and quick easy to get around and use. we watch a-lot of movies and standard Blu-Ray are just perfect 4K blu-ray are mind blowing black level and dark scenes are no problem for this TV colors pop and no issues with motion. sound could be better but we have this paired with a Vizio elevate sound bar and no issues at all with sound cutting out they work perfect together.normal TV looks great to just depends on your source we don`t game so we can`t comment there.one negative would be the remote buttons are small and no back light overall this is a great TV the pictures posted are in a dark room notice the black level and Best Buy had a perfect delivery....Thanks.

My wife and I are very pleased with this Sony TV. Our living room is very bright, and the windows reflect off of our TV. Our old TV had a shiny screen and had dimmed over the years. This Sony TV, a 75" X85J, has a good anti-reflective screen, which has improved our daytime viewing a lot. (See photo and compare TV vs reflection in window.) It is also bright, which helps during the day. I got this unit on sale; it was a good value. The colors are vivid, and the contrast is good, so I don't really miss local dimming (it's edge-lit). To sum it up: I'd recommend this TV to a friend. My wife would have preferred to save some money and settle for the built-in speakers (which are actually fairly good), but she agrees that getting a Sony 3.1 sound bar was well worth it. The wireless subwoofer brings a theater-like experience to our home. If you do get a TV of this size, do consider getting Best Buy to install it. I am glad I didn't try to mount this myself. It's a tricky 2-person job. TD;DR: Good TV, but do get a sound bar. For the record: this is an independent (unpaid) review; I'm not a shill. :)

Love my Sony TV. Coukdnt have been a better model to choose. Ive always had Sony TVs in my house since childhood, and although ive used other brands while growing up, ive come back to Sony for good. The sound and picture quality is gteat. Now im even looking to buy two sony tower speakers to go with it. Size is huge looks like we are in our own private movie theatre. When we have parties in our house, we play 4K sceneries on youtube and the TV looks like a Huge moving painting... just mesmerizing.

We got this TV in October/November of 2021, and here in late May and early June of 2023, we started noticing these dark spots on a few sections of the TV. You can clearly see them on a white background in the attached picture, and they're noticeable when watching shows or playing games. We're not happy since we spent $1,300 on it and this is happening after not owning the TV for that long. The TV is never in direct sunlight and hasn't moved since we set it up, this burn-in just occured with normal use. I give it two stars since it did have the features I was looking for like true 120 Hz refresh rate, and the picture looked good before this burn in.
