Great travel lens. Bought it to take to my Italy trip. Needed something small, light weight with wide angle to capture the great scenery. Expensive but compared to other lenses with the similar focal length, it's the best choice. Great quality. Pictures comes out sharp.

Perfect walkaround lens. Great for landscape and for street photography. Super sharp corner to corner thought the focal length. This lens is targeted for video but love this for photography. Very lightweight and perfectly balanced on my Sony A9 camera.

This is a great lens for taking real estate photos, or shooting videos where you need to capture a wider angle. It also has some great features like power zoom. Would recommend.

Great option for this focal range!

This lens is a great value for the price. The EZ is the best and most natural feeling electric zoom I’ve used. I haven’t used any other lens in this focal range, but I ended up going for this one because F4 wasn’t an issue for me. Try watching youtube reviews on some comparisons to get a better idea on the performance of this lens. I would highly recommend this lens for anyone who doesn’t need anything with a lower aperture!

If you like to make youtube videos, vlogs, or just create content in general where a wide field of vidw is required, this is the lens for you. I absolutely love this lens, even with its 4.0 apeture. I create youtube videos ans this lens does everything i need it to. Sharp, fast autofocus, light weight, I promise you wont be disappointed!

Light weight and perfect for gimbals

Excellent lens! This lens is much lighter than the original 16 to 35 T Sony e mount lens. If you were using this lens on a gimbal it is a must buy!

Low contrast and huge flares.

Convenient light power zoom lens, but..... The contrast is not good. Huge distracting flares. Lens hood is no help in reducing flares. If the sun is above, the contrast will decrease and you will see flares all over. Make sure the sun is always behind. The lens is usable, considering that I got it at OpenBox price. it has some limitations, but can be manageable if the light source is behind. The attached screenshot shows reduced contrast when the light source is above. The image was taken at 11 am at F4 24mm.

Gimbal and this thing — chef’s kiss. The Sony 16–35mm F4 G is a perfect combo for weddings and events. It’s super lightweight, balances beautifully on a gimbal, and delivers sharp, clean images with great color and contrast. The power zoom is smooth for video work, and autofocus is fast and silent. It gives a professional, cinematic look without the weight of an f/2.8 lens. Highly recommend for hybrid shooters who need reliability and versatility.

I love it! Before buying this, I purchased the GMII version, double the price and heavier, and I was looking for something lighter with quality, and this lens delivered. The F4 could be an issue for many people, but quality speaking, is very similar to the GMII IMO. Good luck!

Did my research and watched multiple videos but, after having the Lens in hand i realized how good it really was. While yes its a F4 it can still with stand most scenarios because at least for me I shoot mostly in the day. The low light isn’t bad but it can always be better. If your looking for a high quality lens that is compact both in size and prize, I would highly recommend this one.
