I've really enjoyed using the Sony ZV-E10 II, especially for travel and creating video content. I wanted a camera that was compact enough to actually bring with me while traveling but still gave me a noticeable step up in quality from shooting everything on my phone, and this has been a great fit. The video quality is excellent, and I really like having 4K recording, slow-motion options, and Sony's autofocus. The flip-out screen also makes it easy to film myself or frame shots while traveling. I purchased the kit with the 16-50mm lens, which has been a great starting lens because it's small and gives me flexibility for both photos and video. As I've gotten more interested in cinematic travel videos, I've also appreciated being able to grow into the Sony E-mount lens system instead of needing to replace the entire camera. My biggest wish would be built-in mechanical image stabilization, especially for handheld walking shots while traveling. The electronic stabilization helps, but having IBIS would make an already great creator camera even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend the ZV-E10 II to someone looking for a compact travel and content creation camera with room to grow.

So far I’m loving the Sony ZV-E10 II. I recorded my first video with it and the quality is honestly amazing. Everything looks super clean and sharp, way better than what I was using before, and it already feels like a huge upgrade. The autofocus is crazy fast too — it locks onto my face instantly and doesn’t really hunt around like other cameras I’ve used. Makes filming way easier when I’m shooting solo and don’t have someone behind the camera. I also like how simple it is to use. I didn’t really have to overthink settings, I just turned it on and started shooting and it still came out looking really professional. Low light performance has been solid so far too, which is a big plus for indoor shots. Only real downsides I’ve noticed so far with the Sony ZV-E10 II is that it can get a bit warm during longer 4K recording sessions, and the battery life isn’t the strongest . I’ve had to swap or recharge between shoots. It also doesn’t have in-body stabilization, so handheld footage can get a little shaky if you’re not using a steady hand or stabilized lens. The menu system took me a little time to get used to as well, especially coming from simpler setups. Other than that, it’s been an amazing experience using it, and the quality definitely makes up for the small downsides.

I love this camera! I went from a very old Rebel T6 and was nervous about learning and navigating a Sony. It's very simple to use and if there's anything I don't know, I can just look it easily. The quality is so incredible for video and pictures and every time I look at my footage, I get very excited about how great it looks. It's easy to grab and keep in your bag. Light weight and easy to hold! I definitely recommend this camera (:

I don’t usually write reviews, but this camera truly surprised me. From the moment I started using it, I could see a huge difference in my videos. The quality looks cleaner, sharper, and more professional — and honestly, it gave me a confidence boost when creating content. What I love the most is how practical and lightweight it is. It’s small enough to carry everywhere, super easy to use, and yet incredibly powerful. I can just turn it on and start filming without fighting with complicated settings. It feels like one of those purchases that actually moves you forward. If you create content and want to step up your video quality without overcomplicating things, this camera is 100% worth it. Small body. Big results.

The picture quality is the same as the FX-30 which is a Netflix ready cinema camera. You get the same sharpness, color science, and sensitivity for a bargain price. Sure, there are compromises such as the crop in 4K120 but that can be worked out with distance or lens choice. Speaking of lenses, the ZV-E10 II uses the sony E-Mount so you have access to the entire suite of Sony lenses. In short, it's a great camera.

Such a cool first camera! Could go on but the white is so cute and I love how versatile it is from the accessories to the flip around screen, I'm in love!

I bought this camera to do both still and video work, with video my primary objective. It gives me what I need with 4k and 8k video. I have completed one project already. The touch screen is small so adding an external monitor is helpful. It is a little tedious getting time code and a few other settings made but over all I am able to do what I need. The biggest draw back is not being able to fully flip and open the touch screen. And this creates a few challenges when using various rigs where an external monitor is not helpful. Online some have reported over heating issues but I haven’t experienced that myself. As is common these days, the included documentation is sparse and you will be expected to go online. Sony’s app is poor at best, lacking most of the features available in the camera.

Well made. Color of body and lens has vintage but modern feel. The technology is sharp. Recommend V60 or up sd card use.

Amazing starter camera! Only draw back IMO is the stabilization. Would love to have a fan too, but this is a budget camera perfect for someone just getting into it.

It’s a really amazing and good camera to do videos or pictures it all depends on the person if you know how to use it trust me it would make your life easier when making any type of content I do gym content and I did picked up a really good choice on getting this camera because my pictures and my videos come out really really nice. I recommend anyone who’s looking for a good vlogging camera to get this one.
