Honestly this camera might even be better than the canon g7x that everyone have. i took a lot of time trying to review which camera i should get and i went with this. the settings might be a little bit confusing at first especially if youre new to digital cameras, but once you get a hang of the settings, your pictures can come out really nice. the only thing that i wish that came with it was a built in flash, but you can easily get an external flash on amazon for a reasonable price. overall, my experience so far with this camera has been amazing. its so easy to carry around in your purse. the quality for the pictures on these are so amazing! of course it helps at night to have the external flash if you like to take pictures in night time. but i have tested out this camera in daylight and night time. definitely did not disappoint. and i see a lot of people talking about how their pictures comes out too bright or too dark, its honestly the users issue, i like to play around with the settings when i do take pictures and sometimes when i dont even mean to hit a button, the pictures come out really well! , as for videos, i think its pretty good as well, i haven’t taken too many videos on it yet but from the ones i have , it does look really good. overall, if youre trying to invest in a good camera , i think this one would be a great start

There are about a million other reviews of this camera on the internet, so I'll try to keep this one brief, general, and not overly technical. I got myself this camera to break into the world of video and mirrorless shooting without breaking the bank. I'm coming from almost two decades of shooting with bigger, heavier DSLRs, and I can honestly say this little camera has been a lot of fun to work with! Yes, my go-to DSLR has video capability, but the ZV-E10 makes it so much more convenient and fun. I'm SO impressed with the precise, lightning-quick autofocus in video mode, and its compact size and light weight make it so much easier to maneuver. Did I mention it also takes fantastic still images? The one I provided with this review was taken with the included kit lens. I bought the package that also included the 15mm f/1.4, and it's an awesome lens! Basically no focus breathing in videos, beautiful bokeh, and excellent sharpness and contrast. Overheating hasn't been an issue for me, but I haven't shot with this camera for especially long periods of time, usually one or two hours. The only complaints I have are that the battery won't last you much longer than about an hour or two (because the camera lacks an electronic viewfinder and relies solely on the LCD display). I actually ended up getting the dummy battery AC adapter kit, and it's worked out excellently. My other gripe is I don't totally love that the SD card slot is located inside the battery compartment; it's kind of a pain to eject and pull out. Overall, this is a solid, versatile little camera! Don't be put off by its diminutive size; that's actually one of its strengths! I feel like I could carry it around all day versus my much heavier DSLR. If you're looking for a budget-friendly (relatively speaking) way to get started with video and/or mirrorless shooting, I say start with this camera! You won't regret it!

I've had this camera for just over one year now and this is my absolute favorite camera I have ever owned! If you want an amateur photographers point of view.... I've used this camera for my engagement pictures, recording my wedding ceremony, and took it to Alaska for my honeymoon-- and this camera never disappointed me for my needs. Camera is very easy to use, takes great pictures, and focuses on the subject quick and takes the picture just as quick. Great camera for the price! Highly recommend!

There are no dials, but a single button for photo, video and S&O. It takes a little bit to get used to, but once you do, it's totally fine to get into the manual modes and controls. The photo quality is spot on, have yet to try out the video. I wanted to pick this up for the articulating screen (still has the 3 second self timer when in "selfie-mode" for pictures which I really like), the usb c, unlimited record time with software stabilization in-post using metadata. Overall, very happy with the quality, fit and finish of the camera. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a modern a6100 hybrid.

Perfect for content creators. Background defocus is perfect and super easy for beginners. I've tried the Osmo Pocket 3, the Insta360x5 and this for making videos. Insta360 is great for action / wide angle shots - BUT this camera is way better quality. The Osmi Pocket definitely compares in video quality, but this still wins on the photography side. + the osmo is awkward with the camera setup. All cameras do have different purposes... but this is by far my favorite go to out of the 3 attached a photo that was taken with this camera

I purchased this camera as an "upgrade" from my Sony ZV1 (which I will continue to use as a b-cam) for shooting podcasts. I used it on a trip and the video quality is great, and I like that it takes awesome pictures as well. I am by no means a photographer but it was very beginner friendly and I am excited to continue to use it and grow my podcast business with it.

I was soo excited to get this camera to begin my journey of content creation and vlogging. This was my first camera so it was exciting but personally a little tricky understanding how to adjust all the settings. My favorite part of the camera is the IMovie button for vlogging where it’ll automatically edit the settings for you while your recording to make sure you get the best quality and lighting for your video. I had this camera for about a month and eventually exchanged it for a different camera. Here are my pros and cons for the Sony ZV-E10 Pros - It comes with everything you need to charge the camera - it’s small and portable - It comes with a microphone to attach to the camera for noise cancellation - Imovie Setting for Vlogging - Video quality was really good Cons - I didn’t like that the Sony ZV-E10 doesn’t have an internal flash - wasn’t the easiest to take photos as a beginner - It also wouldn’t allow me to connect to the Sony creators app so it would take a really long time to transfer videos from my camera to my phone via Wifi.
