Running a family business and trying to capture memories of our busy blended family means my Sony camera gets a lot of use. I desperately needed a reliable, standalone charger for my NP-FW50 batteries so I wasn't always tying up the camera to charge them. This W-Series charger is exactly what I needed. It is compact enough to throw in my gear bag without taking up space, and the LED indicator light is incredibly helpful so I know exactly when I’m ready to shoot again. If you use a compatible Sony camera, this is a fantastic, straightforward accessory that simply works perfectly every time.

More expensive than a generic, but I will spend a little more to be sure of compatibility. Works well, nice handy size and convenient for travel.

Bought this charger to ensure that I can safely and efficiently charge my batteries for my camera. I could plug in the usb directly to my camera but I find that that usually damages batteries. Using this charger, I know that my batteries will last longer and I can keep doing what I love doing. Wish it didn't cost so much but it's cheaper in the long run because batteries for these cameras aren't cheap.

Excellent charger and portable! If your battery is drained, it will take a long time to charge the battery. However, if your battery is about 50% and you just need to recharge it, it is fast. The first time I charged my drained battery, it took almost 3 hours. Afterwards, from half, it only takes about an hour to fill it up. It is a bit expensive compared to non branded chargers. Highly recommended.

You need this accessory if you plan to use your camera a lot. You can really use you camera while charging it with the usb cable so the easiest way if to buy another battery and charge it with this charger while you can use the camera with the battery thats included. You can charge overnight too but i recommend removing the battery as soon as its fully charged. Its easy to use since it was made by sony as well, just place the battery the correct way push it gently into the slot and its charging. One neat feature is that it has light indicators on how much charge it has, taking out guessing if its fully charged. Its made of olastic but it also means its light.

Quick and easy to use, just plug in, place the battery in, and you get a quick charge. Much faster than in my camera. Small and easy to take with you. No extra cords or power bricks needed.

I love it, works great!! It’s so much better than carrying a cable and connecting the camera. I bought two batteries and I just charge one while I use the other one.

I love how quickly this charger gets our batteries up and running for the Sony A6000. We weren't expecting the increased charging speed when we got it--but rather we just wanted the convenience. I didn't like having to leave our high end camera on the kitchen counter just to charge the battery--especially considering we have two excited young boys in our house who love to get into everything! I would highly recommend this charger for increased charging speed, protection for your camera by not having to leave it out of its case to charge the battery, and just for plain old convenience. Even 15-20 minutes on the charger will give you some good juice to keep shooting photos--we actually keep the charger in our camera bag on the go just in case!

Used the camera to charge the battery for years. Finally broke down and purchased this charger and realized I should have purchased years ago. It's fast with clear charging indicator lights and felt like it just worked better. Plus, this makes it very convenient to charge a battery while you use the camera.

This battery charger is a good improvement from the original Sony charger that shipped with the A7R2 camera. This redesigned battery charger is smaller and compact; This was done by placing the battery compartment vertically and not horizontally like the old design. This is great news for smaller camera bags. This charger has three indicators allowing you to visually check where along the battery charge is: third, half, and full. Speed of charge seems the same. The size difference was enough for me to purchase one.
