First of all, I am very satisfied with the build quality of the charger. It feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence in its durability. The black color also adds a sleek and stylish touch to the overall design. In terms of functionality, the charger works flawlessly. It charges the batteries quickly and efficiently, allowing me to have fully charged batteries ready for my photography sessions. The charging process is also straightforward, with clear indicators to show the battery status.

Must have accessory!

The new Sony mirrorless camera do not ship with an adapter. So if you own a Sony mirrorless camera I highly recommend owning this charging adapter. I frankly don’t feel comfortable charging my battery through my mirrorless camera and I would highly recommend you spend the extra bucks to safeguard your investment. So if you are not sure this is how you want to spend your money but want to protect your investor this piece of hardware is a no brainer. Best part about this adapter is after the battery is done charging it shuts off!

Hello OzGames, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. Although its very convenient to charge the camera via USB, especially when you are on the go, a separate stand alone charger is a helpful option as well. We're happy to hear you are satisfied with the accessory. Thank you for your recommendation and thank you for choosing Sony. -Linda Sony Social Support

Very good product
MatthewT Posted
Charges sony battery's fast much better than charging through the camera itself. Really useful when you need a charged camera battery can set one to charge eat a fast meal and it would be done by the time you finish. I never ran into any problems with it yet, very easy to setup just plug in and you’re good to go the display indicating the charge is also a very nice touch. Although on more of the pricey side i think it’s definitely worth the investment.

Works great for the times when you need to charge your batteries on the go. Works exactly as needed. Five stars not given because I feel this could’ve been cheaper. Decent quality, ease of use: incredibly easy, value - just not quite worth asking price

Best Charger for NP-FZ 100 Sony Battery
MarcM Posted
The one charger to rule them all! This is by far far the most reliable charger for the NP-FZ 100 Sony lithium-ion batteries. My suggestion is having a couple of these to charge multiple batteries at a time. Its charges the batteries the quickest no matter what the other “fast charger” gimmick products say. Reliable and safe Sony product.

Its fine
Johnbus Posted
As many have said, how does this not come with the camera... Its a lot bigger than other Sony chargers I've had in the past and the battery sits almost on top of it, not recessed very far into it which kind of sucks, kind of feels like it would slide out easily if were plugged into a car power inverter and thrown in a console, but its nice to have one on the charger ready to go rather than waiting and not being able to use the camera while it charges. Really should be half the price.

Battery Charger

This is perfect if you prefer to charge the battery while not in the camera or have an extra battery. I do not like the idea of charging the battery while in the camera. I am afraid of the camera getting damaged while plugged into an electric socket.

If you’re using a Sony camera, having a dedicated battery charger is honestly a must—and after using one, I wouldn’t go back to charging through the camera.

Charger for A7iii

Works way faster than the charger that comes in the box for the A7iii. A little pricey for a charger, but it’s something that will last a very long time. If I lost this one, I would buy another for sure.

Best purchase ever. Charges quickly. I use the Sony FX30 for wedding films so quick battery charge is a must for me. Original Sony NP-FZ100 battery goes from 10% to 100% in under 2 hours. 10/10

Expensive but worth it
AnaK Posted
It’s definitely more expensive than the random brands you see online, but it’s way faster. I can get a full charge in about an hour and a half, which is a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry. The lights on the front tell you exactly how much battery you have left so you aren't guessing. If you have an expensive Sony camera, just get the official charger—it’s worth it.
