A Great addition to my Sony BRAVIA 9 TV
I got the Sony BRAVIA CAM Model (CMU-BC1) and have been impressed with its performance and cool features. Let me explain further: The design is clean, sleek and compact, and the quality is great. It is a perfect addition to my 75 Sony BRAVIA TV and it is compatible with other 2022, 2023 and 2024 Sony TVs so make sure it is compatible first. The setup is easy, make sure your TV is up to date with its software, place the camera on top of the TV and open the lens cover, connect to the TV using the USB cable then finally on the TV access and turn on the BRAVIA CAM. The Camera comes with cable holders so you can manage the cable and I really like that it has a built-in camera cover for added privacy, which is a nice touch. One nice feature from this camera is its ability to optimize both picture and sound based on your position in the room. The Bravia Cam recognizes where you are and adjusts the TV's brightness and sound settings accordingly. I can also choose for it to emphasize on the voice. All of this ensures that you always get the best viewing experience, no matter where you are sitting. And I can see and hear it working when I move around the room. AS for the video Chat capabilities, the BRAVIA CAM also allows for video chatting on the big screen, which is a fantastic feature for staying connected with friends and family. The Full HD (1080p) resolution ensures clear and crisp video quality. We do not have children at the house but when they come over to visit, the proximity alert feature is a nice addition; it helps maintain an acceptable viewing distance by displaying a notification “keep viewing distance” if someone gets too close to the TV and it will not turn off until you get further back. Overall, the Sony BRAVIA CAM 2024 (CMU-BC1) enhances the viewing experience significantly. Its ability to adjust settings based on room dynamics and its additional features like video chat and Proximity Alert make it a worthwhile companion for the selected Sony BRAVIA TV owners.
