Disappointed with Build Quality – Returned After a Week I really wanted to love the Sony Bravia 7 projector, but unfortunately, the unit I received had some major issues that made it unusable for my setup. The most frustrating problem was with the lens shift—it felt loose and would not hold its position, causing the image to drift off-screen over time. This made manual pan adjustments a constant struggle, especially since the projector was ceiling mounted and difficult to access. And also the gravity would have the effect on the position over time . Additionally, the chassis felt surprisingly flimsy for a product at this price point. The overall build quality didn’t meet the expectations I had for a Sony product. It may have been a faulty unit, but these issues made it hard to trust long-term reliability, so I decided to return it. Hopefully others have a better experience, but for me, it just didn’t work out.
