Save money from buying a "new" pro controller with these extra buttons. The positioning is perfect for where the hands rest and the buttons feel clicky as expected of a first-party peripheral. Great for games that have rely on the more uncomfortable buttons a lot (eg. L3/R3 joystick or non-ergonomic combos). This will prevent use of charging cradles and the display is on the back so make sure to check the settings before playing.

The Dualshock 4 Back Button Attachment is an officially licensed Sony product. When you want to mod your standard Dualshock 4 controller to have the functionality of an elite Playstation 4 controller, this is a great choice. Originally priced around $30 USD it might have been a bit pricey, but now can be picked up for around $15 - $20 USD its a no brainer. It allows you to map any button/bumper/trigger to a back button. It supports up to 3 different sets of mappings. Placement on the controller after an easy installation and set up feels natural and comfortable to use. I use one on my controller always, and i have never had an issue with its operation.

I know there’s a lot of people that have complained about this being to big or getting in the way or being accidentally pushed! It definitely takes time to get used to just like anything new but in my case I was blessed or not with big hands so my controller always fits snug in my hands and this attachment just helped me even more and it doesn’t bother me ! When I know I’m not gonna use it I just cancel out the buttons so they aren’t active then when I need them I just re-map the buttons to my liking! So far I’ve used these buttons on GTA, Call of Duty ! Great freaking results dealing with reaction time and movement this gives me.

Very much worth the money. It’s better than paying for a whole new third party controllers if your only just looking for the back buttons. The mapping is great and it doesn’t mess up your holding of the control. Plus you don’t have to keep it plugged in like most third party controllers. It’s takes a couple of uses to get comfortable to it, I use it mostly with Apex Legends and now if It’s hard for me to play without it. One Con tho & is that if you charge your Controller with a dock you will have to keep taking it on & off to charge.

This product is extremely good and works very well it feels comfortable like its natural with the controller and it's easy to use and program the buttons are not sensitive at all the ones that complain or the ones that death-grip their controllers and that's a personal problem not the device they need to learn to relax their hand and not death grip the controller, if you play games natural and relaxed and don't death-grip the controller then you will not have any problems at all I rate this product five out of five works extremely good well-made the buns are not super sensitive and I highly recommend it

This is perfect for gaming. If you enjoy callmof dury, this comes in handy. Perfect daddle buttons that can be programed to any button on the controller. Only down side is that you can't use the charging dock and this is a bit difficult to take off and put on so I just ended up grabbing a micro USB which is no big deal. I bought two! They are awesome!

This is nice to just re-map two of the buttons to the back of the controller. It also has three presets which I use for different games.

This back button attachment is worth it. It makes gaming experience better I love it. Its alittle bulky, and difficult at first but once you it the hang of it, You will not know the difference. This back button everyone can benefit from.

Super easy to start. It takes a little time to get used to it, but after a couple games it was like I’ve always used it. Easy to attach and switch between controllers. I’ll be crushed if PS5 doesn’t have something similar!

The back button attachment is incredibly easy to install. You just pop it on the back of controller and it's instantly on. Also to configure or map the buttons is easier than I thought because you do not need to use another app on the ps4 to do so, you do it right on the device itself through the LCD screen. It greatly improves performance due to the fact that if mapped my way I now longer have to lift my thumb from thumb sticks. So it increases reflex and response time increasing performance in fast paced games like Call of Duty. It adds two extra buttons which helps a lot. In my opinion this is a very good price for this attachment considering that controllers with extra buttons can cost more than $100. To me it seems better to just add the attachment to a controller that I already have for just $30.

When I took it out of the box, I was surprised at how much smaller it was from pictures and videos. It's packaged and well secured in the box. No issues or cosmetic damages. Once it's attached to the controller though, it adds to the bulk of the controller a lot more than I expected. I was a bit worried the first time I attempted to attach it to my controller. I thought I was going to break the 3mm jack, but it just needed a bit of finesse to get it right. It works really well for remapping single button presses. It's really easy to assign buttons and there's three profiles you can set up. That's it though, don't expect it to do macros or multiple buttons at once. It helps greatly in FPS games and third person shooters. Otherwise, I tend to use my other controller without the attachment because I don't really like the bulk that it adds. It's just not as comfortable.
