About this product
The Sony FE 24 to 70mm f2.8 GM II Lens is a refined professional standard zoom for Sony full frame E mount mirrorless cameras, delivering outstanding image quality in a smaller, lighter design than the previous generation. Covering a versatile 24 to 70mm focal length range, it suits landscapes, portraits, weddings, events, travel photography, and video production. The constant f2.8 aperture maintains consistent brightness across the zoom range, enabling effective low-light shooting while offering strong depth-of-field control. As part of Sony’s G Master series, the advanced optical design uses five aspherical elements including two XA elements to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations, along with two Extra Low Dispersion and two Super ED elements that minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved clarity and color accuracy. Nano AR Coating II helps control flare and ghosting while preserving contrast in difficult lighting. The rounded eleven-blade diaphragm produces smooth circular bokeh that enhances subject separation. A redesigned focusing system with four XD Linear Motors delivers fast, quiet, and highly accurate autofocus for both still photography and video. A floating focus system maintains high image quality throughout the focusing range and enables a close minimum focusing distance of about 8.3 inches at the wide end. Additional features include a manual aperture ring with de-click function for silent video adjustments, programmable focus hold buttons, adjustable zoom torque, and dust- and moisture-resistant construction with a fluorine-coated front element for dependable performance in demanding environments.Manufacturer Items Include:Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens (Sony E)Sony ALC-F82S 82mm Front Lens CapSony ALC-R1EM Rear Lens CapSony ALC-SH168 Lens HoodLens CaseBundle Items Include:Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens (Sony E)82mm Filter KitLens CaseLens Cap Keeper

A refined take on the fast standard zoom, the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is not only smaller and lighter than the previous generation, it also features a variety of optical, focusing, and handling upgrades, catering to both photo and video applications, that make this the most well-rounded G Master zoom to date. G Master Image Quality Designed to rival the primes, this zoom's optics have been revamped to provide even greater resolution, clarity, and bokeh quality. Bright f/2.8 constant aperture allows users to capture images in dim lighting conditions and with a shallow depth of field. Two ED (extra-low dispersion) and two Super ED elements effectively suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing for greater clarity and color fidelity. Five aspherical elements, including two extreme aspherical elements (XA), minimize spherical aberrations, distortion, and also reduce 'onion ring' bokeh. Nano AR Coating II controls flare and ghosting with support from a new optical design that reduces internal reflections. An 11-blade aperture diaphragm helps create smooth, circular bokeh at all aperture settings.
The Sony FE 24-50mm f/2.8 G Lens is a versatile option for both photographers and videographers, specifically designed for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. With a constant f/2.8 aperture, it performs excellently in low-light situations, enabling creative depth-of-field effects and sharp imagery. Its lightweight and compact design makes it perfect for travel and everyday use, allowing you to capture breathtaking landscapes or intimate portraits without the hassle of heavy gear. Crafted with advanced aspherical and extra-low dispersion (ED) elements, this lens effectively reduces distortion and chromatic aberration, ensuring vibrant colors and outstanding clarity in your photos. The innovative aperture de-click and lock switches offer filmmakers smooth transitions, enhancing production quality. Built for durability, it features a dust and moisture-resistant design, allowing you to shoot confidently in various conditions.
