A Compact Cinematic Powerhouse...
Toratos Posted
Sony FX3 has completely transformed my workflow. It combines the image quality of a cinema camera with the portability of a mirrorless body. The full-frame sensor delivers breathtaking low-light performance — even at high ISO, footage remains clean and detailed. The color science is stunning, and S-Cinetone looks cinematic right out of the camera, which saves me hours in post-production but I would still recommend shooting in S-Log3 to achieve the highest dynamic range. The active cooling system is a game changer for long shoots, and the customizable buttons make operating the camera incredibly intuitive. I also love the built-in tally lights and top handle with XLR audio inputs, which make it feel like a professional rig without needing bulky accessories. Works perfect with my Sennheiser MKH 416 P48. Autofocus is extremely fast and reliable, even with moving subjects, which is perfect for documentary or solo shooting. Battery life is solid, and the build quality feels premium and rugged. If you’re serious about filmmaking but want something light and versatile, the FX3 is worth every penny. It’s a professional tool in a compact body.

Sony FX3 Review
Victor Posted
The Sony FX3 has quickly become my favorite camera. I love how compact it is without sacrificing image quality—it gives that true cinematic look right out of the camera. The low light performance is insane, and the colors are clean and easy to work with. Paired with the right lens, this thing delivers every time. Whether it’s for content, events, or commercial work, it’s solid. Definitely one of the best tools I’ve invested in.

I love this camera
LondonD Posted
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love my Sony FX3! This camera has completely changed the way I create videos. As someone who films sports, basketball highlights, interviews, and cinematic content, I can confidently say this camera is an absolute game changer. The 4K video quality is incredible, the autofocus is extremely fast and reliable, and the low-light performance is outstanding. Whether I’m capturing fast-paced basketball action, filming indoors, or creating professional cinematic videos, the FX3 delivers amazing results. One of my favorite things about this camera is how compact and lightweight it is while still delivering professional cinema-quality footage. The image stabilization, beautiful colors, and incredible slow-motion capabilities give me so much creative freedom. Sony really knocked it out of the park with this camera. It’s powerful, dependable, and built for serious content creators and filmmakers who want to take their production quality to the next level. Yes, it’s an investment, but for the quality and performance you get, I believe it’s worth every penny. I highly recommend the Sony FX3 to anyone serious about videography, filmmaking, sports content, or professional video production. Five stars all day!

Still worth in 2026

Was going back and forth on getting the fx3 for awhile now and have been waiting for the second version. They released the FX3A in 2025 with just an updated screen. I think its still worth it in 2026. I came over from Canon and the quality and lowlight is just better for cinematography
