Listen to music or podcasts anywhere with this pair of Sony wireless headphones. Ambient sound mode adjusts the amount of external noise that gets through, and the touch of a single button makes it easy to take phone calls without picking up the phone. These sweat-resistant, comfortable Sony wireless headphones connect to iOS and Android devices.
A: There are 3 modes, OFF, ANC and a pass thru mode that will play ambient sounds through the headphones. Off about doubles the battery life.
Q: Would these block gun shots noise at a shooting range.
A: Muffle yes, block no. No where near the level of noise canceling of dedicated shooting muffs.
Q: How is the Mic, and does it stay in the ear throughout workouts?
A: The mic is pretty crap, people are always saying they can barely hear me. But they stay in great, during runs and weight lifting.
A: These headphones only work in quiet settings. Once you wear them outside for any activity, quality diminishes rapidly to the point of not being able to hear what you’re trying to listen to. Battery only lasts about 4 hours. Noise canceling option is useless. I do not recommend this product.
A: Cycling between noise cancelling, ambient sound, and off (normal headphones without the two previous features) can only be done by pushing a button on the headphones and you can only tell what mode you are in by listening to it. There's a different tone for each one and then it tells you with words. Every time you turn it on it defaults to noise cancelling. Ambient sound is next, followed by off (followed by noise cancelling again if you keep cycling through the modes) It also tells you when power is turned on or off, when bluetooth is connected, and what the battery level is. But you can also get this information out of your phone. You don't need a pin or code to pair with your phone. Look for WI-SP600N in the list of bluetooth devices.
Q: Can these be used to answer a business phone?
A: Hi, oil! Yes, it is designed for phone calls as well. ~Ralph
A: Hi Wood, Noise canceling headphones are designed to help reduce ambient noise and reproduce high quality sound. Using special electronic circuitry, noise canceling headphones actively reduce most of the outside noise that can't be eliminated by simply covering the ears. A: Most sites are saying 5/28, but one or two are saying 6/18.
