I purchased the wired earbuds for me to use with my cellphone as a senior citizen. I love them because they are lightweight and slender, Being black in color, they seem to disappear. Plugs fit snuggly and don't fall out. The sound is awesome.

It is good so far! It matches with the cover of my iPad. It keeps me occupied watching movies while waiting at the airport and listen privately.

Whether there are any legitimate dangers from wireless headphones is a separate discussion. But if you have concerns, then this is a great solution for you. The sound quality is good. Obviously not great since there’s no noise canceling tech. As with any wired headphones, you will have to deal with the tangling wires when you use them. Also, it does take up your device’s USB C port while in use. But the great advantage of a wired headset is that you will never have to worry about charging them! Also, no need for any firmware updates. It’s just plug and play forever! Sometimes a peace of mind is better than the convenience of wireless freedom. Cheers!

For phones and devices with USB-C (like my new iPhone 17) these wired headphones are an inexpensive way to upgrade your layering experience above the standard wired AirPods (which don’t even come with the new phones anyway.) Comfortable in-ear buds that drown out external noise pretty well once you find the right size of foam tip. Really great sound quality with surprisingly strong low end (bass) and deep soundstage. I’ve used the mic for phone calls and the person on the other end said the sound quality was identical to wired AirPods. The cable is flat and surprisingly not stiff (a complaint I’ve had about the Beats wired earbuds.)

Sometimes when I run for long distances, the music will just shut off. It also seems like the connection to the cell phone might be the issue. Otherwise, I think the audio is fine and the calling features appears to be okay. but since the headphones can't handle long distances and prolonged use with sweat, I have not used it in a while and would not likely recommend it for runners.

The Sony USB‑C Wired In‑Ear Headphones offer surprisingly decent sound quality for their price. The audio is clear and balanced, making them great for everyday listening, calls, and podcasts. One thing they do well is blocking out ambient noise. Even without active noise cancellation, the in‑ear seal reduces outside sounds enough to stay focused while commuting or working. The built‑in microphone works fine overall, but it does pick up some background noise while driving or in louder environments. It’s still usable — just not perfect if you make a lot of calls on the go. Aside from that, I’ve had no major issues. They’re simple, reliable, and convenient if you need USB‑C wired earbuds. Overall: A solid and hassle‑free pair of wired headphones with good sound and decent passive noise isolation.

They work with my laptop or with my cellphone. The sound quality is close to the Bose headphones I had before. I wonder if they will last as long.

I don't normally have anything to say about a $10 product, but this particular $10 product is a bit of an intention getter. First of all everybody's all about wireless. I will always have a place on my phone and in my heart for wired headphones they do just sound better. They drain the battery less and it's direct connection so no chance of losing signal. But the most ultimate thing you need to know is that these headphones have been in my pockets and accidentally got in the washing machine twice. And survived and still worked. That's all the review you need. Case clothes You got $10 and need some headphones, Sony got you, high and low.

I picked these up for work conference calls. Amazing sound quality for both music and phone calls. I love that they plug right into your iPhone and you don't need the adapter. Highly recommended.

Smooth listening, great sound, no irritation, holds well on to ears

Good wired headphones sound quality and call. Sometimes weird headphones are great back ups. Better in some situations if you like to have a pair of not Bluetooth headphones in the Bluetooth these are the ones.

The bud part does not stay as secure as the older lightning model for some reason. It does what it needs to do but Sony should not mess with what works. Will recommend for home use only. If you are out, it will come out of your ears as it is not very secure.

Quality brand name, affordable price. The craze of going back to wired headphones hit my child. Was happy to see a brand like Sony provide an affordable quality pair. Sound has been amazing.

Very useful for Zoom meetings and listening to music, though I tend to use only one earbud during calls as it feels like ear plugs when you wear both and it's a bit inconvenient for it to feel like that when you're trying to listen to yourself during a meeting. Just a caveat for those looking to buy of these.
