This has by far been the best phone I have had in a long time. I traded in the iPhone 6s towards this phone and I am glad I did. With the ability to upgrade to 256GB storage without having to pay someone to do it and the photo quality just be so much higher, I can finally get all the pictures of my family that I have wanted. On the fun side I am a PS4 owner. So I can connect my Dualshock 4 up to through Blutooth and play my PS4 wherever there is wifi with Remote Play. I also have my complete music library on this phone which allows me to easily customize Ring Tones as well as various other sounds. The dual front facing speakers are nice, but when I put on my stereo headphones, I can sit back and listen to the music with no problems. This phone has a bit of everything and I am extremely happy with it. Check out the picture below of a spider I took on the other side of a window.

I got this phone while it was on sale for $499, and it’s one of the BEST phones I’ve ever purchased. It has great cameras; great battery; decent speakers; beautiful build quality; SD card If you wanna add more memory; and one of the most beautiful screens I’ve ever seen on a phone. You can watch full 4K Videos; HDR video, and even videos at 2160 with 60fps. It’s truly just an amazing phone. It’s even water proof. Only thing I’m not a fan of, is how slippery it is and the SIM slot cover. So put a case on it, and you are good to go. Buy this phone.

I had problems with two of these phones with the camera not being able to focus and also having a terrible amount of "muddy" looking photos. The DoF doesn't work properly as a standard lens should and I'm unsure if it's the software causing the problem or if I have a bad sensor. This camera is advertised the best on the market and was advertised for its low light performance. I cannot even take photos in afternoon shade without it looking like garbage. When I reached out to Sony they gave me the same run around and when I asked if I'd be able to return it under warranty and get a new one they said no and that they would make me pay to ship my phone back. Not give me a interim replacement and wait for them to look at and fix it. It wasn't worth the hassle in my opinion since I don't have a back up phone since I switched carriers for this one. This is an amazing phone with lot of features. I believe Sony makes great products but it's marketing is lacking. This phone is much more affordable then other premium phones in market at this time. Most premium smartphones including Apple use Sony censors for there cameras. This XZ premium has 3D image software, 960fps ,which is much ahead of iphone X 240fps. 4K screen which may be overkill for some, but some Netflix movies look awesome. It has high res audio,with amazing sound. There is design criticism but I find it a very beautiful phone. Remember even recently till iPhone 8 Apple phone was using bezel too. Overall one of the best smart phones in market, but hype around other phones and great marketing by Samsung and Apple may not make this phone a great sled, but if you are not after show off,this is a great phone.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she is in love with it. First the luminous chrome is just like a mirror (you can use it as a personal mirror), It looks heavy but you'll be surprised by how light it feels in your hand. 4 stars because too many updates in the beginning and is still asking for more updates. The snapdragon processor is my favorite because its the best/fastest as of now. The phone has enough memories to hold more than enough pictures that you take from this 19mp camera. And the important part price is very reasonable compared to the features. Other phones like apple and Samsung cost more with same features. I am happy with the purchase.

I don’t usually write reviews online but Sony deserves credit for this amazing phone! This is by far one of the most gorgeous looking devices I have owned in years! Sony sticked with its rectangular omni balance design formula but improved it with the introduction of loop design with Xperia XZ last fall. The XZ Premium improved that design formula by offering Premium build, construction and finish. Luckily it is disabled by software so there is workaround to enable it without rooting the phone! • Big Bezels? They are honestly not that big as some online reviews claims, never seen them complain about iPhone bezels, but this phone utilizes that space for two good features (dedicated front stereo speakers and the use of large front camera sensor) • Front Stereo Speakers could be louder • Super slow-motion mode is best used outdoors not indoors and only limited to 720p resolution. I understand its new and groundbreaking technology in a smartphone, hopefully next follow up model will have an improved low light shooting and 1080p resolution. • Fingerprint magnet, expect to carry a microfiber cloth with you if you are not using a case to clean the phone from fingerprints. Overall, Excellent effort by Sony! it’s one of the best purchases you can make this year. If you are in the market for a premium, powerful GSM smartphone with impressive audio/multimedia features and sharp unique shooter, look no farther!

This is a top notch product from Sony! The camera is flawless and the pic resolution is mind blowing.. Got a few of my friends jealous when they compared the pic against their iPhone 7 camera!! Great for Indoor and outdoor photography!! Good speed too as it has the latest snapdragon processor! Awesome batter life as well!

Phone comes with everything you'd expect from a Sony phone. Quick because of its processor, good battery life. Camera takes crisp clear pictures. Only downside side is that the best buy version does not include earbuds like other retailers are including in package.

I was looking for something a little different, aside from Samsung, LG, etc and decided to try this Sony. It is amazing! Stylish, responsive and fast, it had exceeded my expectations. Great phone!

I bought this phone unlocked for use on the T-mobile network and have been using it for over a week. Benchmark tests put this phone as one of the fastest out there, which is expected as it has the snapdragon 935. The screen is very nice when watching 4K supported content or viewing high definition photos. You can really zoom in on the detail in camera shots or other photos. Games run phenomenally fast! I bought this phone as I don't like the edge displays on Samsung phones with the odd aspect ratio. I also wanted waterproofing which this phone has. The ps4 remote play is a nice feature as I have a Ps4 Pro, but wasn't a selling feature for me, just a nice plus. Overall I recommend this phone for someone who is looking for flagship android specs and performance, and something different from the iPhone, Samsung and LG standards.

I really love my cell phone. It is better than one plus phones. The plus point is dual SIM card facility. The camera is just awesome.

This phone is absolutely great! By far the best cell phone I've ever had. It is also the first Sony phone I've ever had. Sony leaves Android practically intact so you don't get the bloatware like other manufacturers. The camera is great, battery amazing. Android 8.0 runs like a dream. And that 4K HDR Display! WOW! By far the best money can buy.

I bought this phone for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. It is very stylish, responsive and fast. The cameras can't be beat either. She loves the super slow motion on it as well. Superb device!

I got this phone for my wife. The phone I previously had was a Nexus 6, and it was slow and clunky, compared to this one. The camera is amazing and has the ability to catch "THE" moment, where I can't tell you how many times I'd push click..........and nothing. Then have to take the pic over cu it wasn't focused. This one has a lead time that it captures the picture before you even take it. Then when you let go of the button, it captures it immediately. High quality lens and screen. Very vibrant colors.

It's simply a better phone without compromising on features like other brands have. I prefer the rectangular shape opposed to the samey aesthetic of the big competitors.

I've had this phone for a long time now, and it's a great performer and has never let me down. It looks like nothing else out there and feels like quality in my hand. I like that the display is HDR because I shoot and edit HDR video and it's nice to have that kind of color in my pocket. The camera is very good, but not as good as on my wife's Sony XA1, which I rank up with the very best out there.

This is my first android phone, and I love it. I've always been an "apple fan-boi" until now, and I'm glad I made the switch. The Experia's "transfer my stuff" app worked flawlessly, importing all my contacts, memos, and photographs from my iPhone. The phone itself is sexy as heck. It is so glossy that it can feels like an oiled squid in your hand, so you'll want to put a grippy case on it. It takes better pictures than my Nikon.

Bought this for my girlfriend's birthday and she loves it. I own the XZ and saw the premium on sale and jumped on it. I didn't realize it was such a larger phone than the non premium but she actually liked this. Its faster than the normal version and appears to not have an overheating issue that my regular version has especially when used in direct sunlight. Super fast and vibrant display. Highly recommended. Same functionality of $1000 phones. My favorite part are the amazing pictures the sony phones are able to take.

I really like the resolution of this phone. Games and movies look amazing. Really like the ability to play my Ps4 games away from the house.
