The case texture is matte— too matte, which is a terrible texture for things you want to maintain a grip on. If the air is relatively dry and your hands are dry this case will happily slide across your fingers and palm as if it’s got a thin cushion of air between your textured finger prints and this texture case. The indentations do not help at all unless you death grip the phone while using it. The texture is just all wrong if you’re even a little clumsy, of if you find yourself balancing your phone on your index and middle fingers while you use it. I felt some other colors of this same model at the store and their matte textures were not as slippery as this orange one. They were slightly “glossier” and flat to the touch which IMO makes it much easier to hold in place in your hands.
