Q: is it compatible for a iPad pro air 10.5".....we tried it at the store but it was very snug and we did not dare forcing ..would it be safe to try harder??

A: No it doesn't charge the pencil, we had to order a different case.

Do Not Buy This!
The only nice thing I can say about this case is that it is my favorite color. That's it. The case is not sturdy at all. When closed, there is a gap in the cover. There is a plastic snap that holds both sides together. I can see where it looks as if it might break. Your iPad pro 11 inch will fit super snug into the case, but it will soon be a pain because you have to take it out to charge the apple pencil. There is a slot to hold the pencil, but it does not charge in that slot. My pencil has also fallen out of that section. Overall, this was a very disappointing purchase. I can't wait til the Zagg Rugged Book version comes out!

Great Case
I love my iPad case because it is very sturdy, can be locked closed with a little clip and can carry my apple pencil in the same case without falling out. It's not your typical color but very neutral with two-tone grey. I can find it in my bag quickly. It is a little heavy, so if you want a very light case, this one is not for you. That being said, I selected it for the protection, so the weight is acceptable. The only thing I would like for the next model is that you can turn the iPad for horizontal viewing.

Great protection for my new Apple iPad Pro
I was looking to purchase a case for my new Apple iPad Pro that would be convenient to use and protect my iPad. The Smart Folio from Apple was $79.00 I saw this Speck brand case at Best Buy and I like the way it looks and is sturdy and very convenient to use. Also at 39.99 it was half the price of the other one from Apple. I have been using it for 2 months now and am very happy with my purchase.
