Customer Ratings & Reviews

Easy to use and set-up. Works great so far. Best all-in-one for the price. Good battery life and features. Would purchase again if needed.

Great portable device for accepting payments. Work with your Square account. Easily pairs with phone or tablet. Used at convention last weekend. No wifi or signal avail, but had two options. Used my phone as hotspot and had instant verifications worked very well. Also, if you don’t have a connection, you can set it up so that it will transmit later, but you won’t get instant verification that way. Either way this worked very good for us. Very happy with it. Charged it the night before, it lasted more than five hours on a full charge… Which was the time that we needed it. But we brought the charger just in case the display is very vibrant and clear. The built-in printer allows you to give your consumer an instant receipt, or you can email them a copy. Square allows you to pre-enter all your items into the app, which makes checking out simple and easy for consumers without having to touch your phone or tablet. I Will use it again at feature convention shows, and on the go. I was not sure about spending the money on this, but… The quality is great, rivals that of current high-end cellular telephones, and overall, This is a Great Business investment!!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently purchased the Square Terminal from Best Buy for my nonprofit organization, and I must say, it has been an absolute game-changer! As someone who values affordability, efficiency, and resource management, I couldn't be more pleased with this device. Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) One of the standout features of the Square Terminal is its incredible value for the price. As a nonprofit, we are always conscious of our budget, and the Square Terminal's affordability was a major selling point. Compared to other point-of-sale systems on the market, the Terminal offered competitive pricing without sacrificing quality or functionality. Best Buy's pricing was also very reasonable, making it a win-win situation for our organization. Ease of Use: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) The Square Terminal's user-friendly interface was a breath of fresh air. Our staff, many of whom are not tech-savvy, found it incredibly intuitive to set up and operate. The touchscreen is responsive and the interface is clean and well-organized. From processing payments to managing inventory, the Terminal's design simplifies the entire process. Plus, Square's ecosystem is known for its user-friendly nature, and the Terminal is no exception. It didn't take long for our team to become comfortable with using it effectively. Time and Resource Savings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) One of the most impressive aspects of the Square Terminal has been the amount of time and resources it has saved us. Gone are the days of manual data entry and paperwork. With the Terminal, we can seamlessly track sales, manage inventory, and generate detailed reports—all in one place. This has freed up our team to focus on more important tasks, like interacting with our community and advancing our mission. The integration with Square's backend tools has been invaluable in streamlining our operations. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Square Terminal to any nonprofit or small business looking for an affordable, efficient, and user-friendly point-of-sale solution. Its combination of reasonable pricing, ease of use, and time/resource savings has made it an indispensable tool for our organization. Kudos to Best Buy for making this fantastic device accessible to organizations like ours. If you're considering a point-of-sale upgrade, the Square Terminal should be at the top of your list!

Love it. It’s reliable and easy to follow the prompts. It is also lightweight. It is very attractive.

Great experience at Best Buy! I bought a card payment device for my shop and everything went smoothly. The staff was very helpful and explained everything clearly. The device works perfectly and made transactions much easier for my business. Highly recommend!”

This product was the perfect addition to my need. I am presenting a stageplay and I need a way to allow guest attending to play to be able to not only pay with cash but other options. It was very easy to set up and work just perfectly for my knee even organizing by title of the different options of payment. I just purchased the smaller version in addition because I liked it so much I wanted to have another opportunity to take payments in other areas. I highly recommend this product.

This product is so easy to use. As a small business store it not difficult for any of our employees to use. We love the portability of it. I also wanted to add the Store Manager who helped at the Mission Valley location in California we above and beyond locating this machine for is. Over all experience was excellent.

This product exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and performance. It’s easy to use and delivers great results quickly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good value for money.

Fast and easy to use great upgrade worth the money

upgraded from the lil phone plug-ins/ you can customize these to have pictures and prices of your products to make it easier for staff to find and click. we bought two for different locations and can have customized menus specific to each location while still using the same item library.

Love this little machine! I used an iPad with square stand for years until my iPad battery started swelling. I hated how the iPad terminal would always time out while I was waiting for clients to pay in my hair salon. This terminal doesn't do that. And the screen goes to sleep in between using. Super easy to use. I set up in minutes (already a Square user). I wish I would've bought this sooner.

Makes transactions much faster and easy to use also helps keep track of daily sales

easy to learn and setup, major time saver versus inputting cards on website.

Awesome piece of equipment. Would recommend to everyone

Works great. Very easy to use and allows you to add items and set prices for easy checkout. The battery lasts long too.

Works great and easy to use great for just starting a business

I originally purchased this for craft fairs and events. However, after the ease of use, I decided to use it full-time in my store. The system operates well, the screen is easy to see and user-friendly. Overall I like the device and am happy with my purchase. No big bulky system just a small little device.

Opening my 2nd retail gift shop so this was one of the first things I added to my checklist. Reliable, easy to connect and the interface is streamlined for both customer and employee. I love that this machine is so portable for conventions / shows / farmers markets. Since Square is so widely-accepted, your customers and clients will trust you and this terminal.

This is a great terminal. It connected seamlessly with my Square Business account. User friendly. Although it has the same menu as the Square app on my phone, but at least I can hand out receipts. The terminal takes dip, tap, and swipe. I recommend getting the case for it on Amazon.

Great product for my business. It’s easy to use and access and makes things easier for clients to use when paying.. definitely recommend for small businesses!
