It is not the thickest, it is not the thin flimsy crappy stuff that ends up stuck one everything but your box, either ( and leads to a lot of cursing and) a lot of waste. It really doesn't pay to skimp on some things, and unfortunately box tape is one of them. The prices have gone through the roof, the reason, because companies think "we can, so we will" everything costs more lately - exceedingly more, and like hiring employees they promise you the moon and the stars and fall short. You'd think you would be able to buy supplies for your business (whatever it is) from a specialized company and they would sell said supplies to you at a substantially lower cost - because God knows you buy enough of it! but like everyone else they're out to get as much of your money as they can. The small businesses we understand pinching pennies, and stretching things as far as possible - that's why you get boxes from BIG COMPANIES like a certain pet supply company that ships you a 40lb bag of food and treats, fish food,( blah, blah,blah ad nauseum) - AND THEY USE ONE STRIP OF TAPE ACROSS THE LARGE FLAP OF THE BOX. THEN THE DELIVERY PEOPLE GRAB THE BOX MANHANDLE IT, TEAR IT OPEN AND THROW IT ONTO YOUR LANAI AND YOU HAVE A BROKEN BOX AND A MESS EVERYWHERE. This could all be avoided if people we not so greedy>in turn companies using their products were not so STINGY with the tape>it's all a domino effect. I believe you should sell the best product you can produce, and since it is "a Staple" it should be sold for a reasonable price. The small guy needs to put food on his table also, and since there is always somebody willing to do it BETTER than you & CHEAPER, I am putting companies on notice - you are not servicing millionaires with limitless budgets herE - you are serving the small mom & pop, local businesses and we NEED a BREAK, besides the point, that we deserve one. Anyone who gets up and breaks his back making a living everyday deserves a little kindness. It might be a sales rep steering you towards a cheaper, equally good quality product, or a company lowering their MOQ and selling the items to us AT REDUCED PRICES to even out the playing field, we can't all place thousand dollar orders, because we are not running million or billion dollar industries - we are just keeping up the American dream - work hard, do your best, save your money & "have it all" which is becoming more and more elusive, and harder to even retire before you work yourself to death. This tape is reasonably affordable (let's face it everything could be better) and does a fair job at what it is meant to do. What really burns me and rubs me the wrong way, the things you find out as you live - there is no standard sized anything - take a roll of tape or a roll of TP, you need a math degree in advanced calculus to work out exactly what these things actually cost. You're never really coming out ahead - which is why some people just throw anything into their cart, it's easier than doing calculus, driving an hour out of town to save a few bucks that you in turn pay for the gas and the wear and tear on their car - some people STRESS OUT OVER THIS - SOME HAVE JUST GIVEN UP COMPLETELY AND RESIGNED THEMSELVES TO THINGS, THEY'RE THE ONES YOU SEE WITH GLAZED OVER EXPRESSION - REACHING OUT AND THROWING THE FIRST ITEM THEY CAN LAY THEIR HANDS ON, TO FACILITATE GETTING OUT OF THE STORE ASAP AND GETTING HOME BEFORE RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC....ahhhhh!

it's reasonable, some how thin, not good if you need strong hold.

The thinnest tape you will ever purchase. Very hard to apply without folding, creasing, or overlaping. It's bad. Do not buy.

Worst tape ever. It barely sticks to anything, and is EXTREMELY thin. Can't even use it, just worthless.

This is thin but works. Good price point and like that it comes without the plastic tape dispenser.

This packing tape works well. It is also a good deal.
