It's very difficult to find a good desk chair with a high weight limit. I've bought several over the years (over a half dozen) and I have yet to find one. The Staples Randolph Ergonomic is among the worst I've tried. Ironic, since it has the highest weight limit I've ever purchased (400 lbs). Still, after 30 days it's obvious this thing isn't going to hold up for long. It sqeaks immediately after installation, I even tried taking it apart and putting it together a 2nd time - no go. I currently weigh almost 300 lbs, my weight sometimes fluctuates between 280 to 300, well under the advertised weight limit of this chair. That description is disingenuous at best, dishonest at worst - regardless, it's not good for anyone over about 235 to 250 lbs. If I have to find anything positive to say, I have to admit the side buttons controlling the height and recline of the chair are different than I've seen before and could possibly be good, if they hold up over time. Still, due to it's false weight limit claim I simply can not recommend this chair. Buyer Beware.
