I love this game. Its quests are where this game shines. Its hand crafted locations and stories are why you should play this game. Do NOT get this game for its space exploration as its very limited. This is not No Mans Sky. This is a Bethesda game with space as its backdrop.

Having never played a Bethesda game, this one was tough to start on. It took me about 45 hours to beat this, and I was able to wander a bit — but it didn’t sweep me away like others are saying it did. I had to put combat on easy — I had problems finding ammo, but honestly just wasn’t interested in combat in this game. I wanted to explore, and unfortunately I didn’t find exploration terribly rewarding. The concept of limiting my inventory based on weight is just a strange restriction to incorporate into a video game — I’m lucky enough not to have come across this feature until this game. It became all I thought about. Otherwise, the game looked and played to me like a game that was released 10 years ago. Everything feels squishy and light — there’s no weight or sense of impact while walking around or fighting. Base building and shot building were things I was excited about, but was just never able to figure out even after watching YouTube videos for instruction. Overall, not my cup of tea — but I’m glad others are enjoying it.

Starfield on the Xbox Series X is a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos that fulfills the dreams of any space enthusiast and RPG fan. With its stunning graphics, captivating exploration, rich storytelling, and endless customization options, it’s a game that’s bound to keep players engaged for countless hours. Despite a few minor hiccups, Starfield is a true gem in the Xbox Series X And I really enjoyed it..100% will recommend it to anyone and I rarely play Xbox Games but definitely a must have

Want to play a game where you can visit what seems like unlimited planets? You can with Starfield! However, most planets are empty! Want to explore the planets anyway? Can with Starfield? However, you have to run around on foot on the planets and have no vehicles. Most of the game is running around, fast travel, watching take-off and landing cutscenes, and some missions but the plain story. It's a lot like Fallout minus the fun and customizing your starship and using it but you mostly stay stationary in one place and don't get to fly through the galaxy. The idea of Starfield was great but it just failed in delivery.

It was like a mix between Mass Effect and No Mans Sky except not fun. The menus and navigation seem like an afterthought making them unnecessarily complex and unintuitive. Combat was fun but there is a whole lot of other dull stuff that seems tacked on without much purpose.

Great game. I believe when all updates, patches, DLC and whatnot come out it may be a 5/5, but as it stands it does not quite live up to its predecessors in Fallout of The Elder Scrolls. Still absolutely worth playing, especially if you are a fan of the forementioned. 4/5.

Very creative but fell flat at times. Enjoyed the npc interactions weapons use and space combat. Many aspects became redundant tho. Would still recommend to any Xbox player!

I got this because the label clearly shows Windows. It did not launch at all. After a few hours of Internet sleuthing, I found a work around. On the Xbox App on PC, in the settings under General, there is an option for Offline mode. If you check that box the game starts right up.

What you would expect from Bethesda. Combat leaves you wanting more but beautiful game and great story line.

One of the best space games out. In working order, better at this point, then star citizen which is $500billion invested and still not working. StarField is highly entertain, with so much dialog and communications, and relationships. So many locations to explore, just like skyrim. No additional purchasing whatsoever. Only use earned ingame currency. No pay to win.

The game feels very “last gen” but if you enjoy Bethesda-style RPGs you will enjoy Starfield.

I bought this since I am a huge Fallout fan. This does its service well. There is a ton of things to do and the space exploration is great! Very happy with this game (even with some of the bugs, loan times, etc.)

You can tell they actually took care with this game. Bethesda delivered, you won't run out of stuff to do for a long time and the missions, especially side quests are fulfilling!

Great game, but Microsoft's syncing between devices is a pain to get working. A bit crash prone but im not sure if that is the game or xbox on pc

There is lots of loading which takes away from the whole exploring experience.

I'd be happy to give this a better rating if I could play the downloaded version on my Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play since I picked up my pre-order on release day and Bethesda has stopped offering support on the ticket I opened with them after two months of following their instruction. The game crashes within 5 minutes every time I play. I've gone through all the troubleshooting processes with Microsoft and they don't think anything is wrong with my console. In all fairness, I gave the game two stars because I was able to play the cloud version for an additional $16.99 a month and the game has potential for those who can play it. I know the crashing hasn't affected everyone (although it sounds like it's affecting more and more everyday), but it's dissapointing to have dropped $70 on a game that I can't play. Wish I could play the version I bought because I'm not paying to play a game I already own.
