Chair came with scuff marks. Not a bad chair tho, but for how much it costs I think it should have been handled better. Also, very easy to assemble.

Full disclosure: I was given this chair to review. I am not the type of person who would spend over $200 for an office desk chair, let alone over $500 so that's worth keeping in mind as you read the rest. I'll start with the good: it's comfortable. In fact, it becomes more evident just how comfortable it is the longer you sit in it. I have another, recently made office chair that has soft, squishy faux-leather and at first touch it's easy to think it's the softer of the two chairs. But sitting in each makes the differences obvious and obvious in favor of the Steelcase. The seat cushion is fine; I think the real difference is in the chair back. Whatever hinge mechanism they're using back there allows for getting the perfect amount of tension and flexibility to really allow me to sit at a comfortable position for hours on end. The same is true of the height adjustment, lumbar support, and arms. My desk sits very low and I still have no problem finding solutions within the range of the chair's various adjustments to put myself in a working position. Also, this chair was incredibly easy to assemble. No tools required. No 2nd set of hands needed. Everything snaps into place. But here's the thing: you could probably say the same things for a large swath of chairs that are in some cases significantly less expensive than the Steelcase. So what are you really paying for? Design and materials, right? This is where this chair fails to warrant the price tag, in my opinion. The thing just looks cheap. Too much white plastic. I know design is subjective, but really - look at it. Does it stand out from the pack in any significant way? If not, then why does it cost so much? And for a chair that's $500 you'd at least expect a high level of polish. Unfortunately, my chair came scuffed right out of the box. (See the photo.) Again, maybe using so much white plastic isn't the best idea for long - or even - short term use from something you might sit in literally every day. Long story short, were I the type of person to pay this much for a chair I likely would have returned it. But it is comfortable. That feels like the least you can ask for at this price, the bare minimum. I expected much more than that.

Steelcase is one of, if not the largest, office furniture suppliers in the U.S. Rightfully so. Their products are robustly made and come in a nearly endless variety of styles, colors, configurations. One visit to the Steelcase website and one will wonder how many different variations of seating and furniture are available. If you want it, Steelcase most likely makes it and, in a color, you can find to blend into any décor. While Steelcase is a well-known, go-to brand in the business workplace, they have only recently attempted to enter the consumer market. The Steelcase Series 1 is no exception to the company’s well-made and comfortable office chairs. The Series 1 is constructed of high-quality plastics and materials that not only appear to be long-lasting but are easy to clean and resist stains and dirt. The Series 1 includes all the conveniences of any modern office chair, including height adjustment, swivel, etc. as well as the ability to lock those features out. The arms are height adjustable to fit nearly anyone’s torso comfortably, as well as have an integrated swivel on the armrest. While I never thought about a swiveling armrest, now that I’ve seen it, I don’t understand why others don’t follow Steelcase’s lead. A simple design element that pays huge dividends. The Series 1 is comfortable and quite firm. Much firmer than any other office chairs I’ve had come through my house. The seat padding is very firm, but not so much so that it becomes tiring. One thing that is much better on the Steelcase than many office chairs, is the excellent back support. There are a total of 9 supports that stretch horizontally across the chair’s back, lending to excellent rigidity and support. The material stretching across the back is fully ventilated to prevent that nasty sweaty back scenario so common in cheap office furniture. NEGATIVES There in lies my biggest, or should I say my spouse’s biggest gripe of the Series 1. It would be right at home in a business or office environment, but it feels woefully out of place in a home setting. Even with someone that uses a home office as their business or a WFH location, the Series 1 just doesn’t have that appeal like a nice leather office chair normally would. Quite honestly, the Series 1 looks like something your employer would have given you for your WFH during COVID or something you snagged from a conference room on your way out. CONCLUSIONS I can’t find any faults in the Series 1’s build quality or construction. Materials appear to be very durable and are easy to clean and care for. The back supports are top notch, and the seat cushion remains cool and firm throughout a full day of work. The Steelcase Series 1 would be a great addition to any business needing a long lasting, durable office chair for meetings or employees. But, as an office chair for home, I can’t see it being a popular choice. It just looks out of place in the house and does not blend into most decors.

I've been using the same office chair at my home desk for at least 5 years. It's one of those basic chairs that are a dime a dozen at your local office supply store. It gets the job done but feels stiff and uncomfortable after a few hours. When I saw this Steelcase Series 1 chair available at Best Buy, I knew it was time to upgrade. I had heard of Steelcase chairs from co-workers and friends but wasn't convinced they were *that* much better than my cheap office store chair. Was I ever wrong. The Series 1 chair is extremely comfortable, versatile, and easy to assemble. But it's not without it's quirks and drawbacks. === PROS === - Assembly is incredibly easy. No tools are required (not even a Hex key/Allen wrench). Just place the top half on the base and then slide the seat into place until it clicks. And that's about it. - The chair's design is sleek and modern but not over-the-top. It is a simple look with clean lines that should fit in to any office (at home or in an office building). The white "Seagull" color of the frame stands out a bit in my neutral-colored apartment but I still like the contrast with the darker "Night Owl" color of the fabric. - All of the standard adjustments like armrest height and seat high are available, and then some. You can adjust the lumbar support bar on the backrest as well as the depth of the seat. The backrest itself tilts back to about a 45-degree angle with two selectable levels of tension. Tilt and height adjustments are made using an easily accessible lever under the right side of the seat. - The mesh backrest is very breathable and supportive. It is does not feel stiff at all and seems to adjust well to various movements and positions of your back. - The seat cushion is among the most comfortable I've ever sat on. It is very well padded without feeling too soft or like I'm about to sink into it. - On my vinyl flooring, the casters on the Series 1 are incredibly quiet. The chair glides very easily over my floor when I need it to, but stays in place when needed while I'm at my desk. === CONS === - There wasn't much padding in the shipping box. All of the chair's components were sort of just thrown in the box and likely moved around a bit in shipping. As such, on of the legs on my chair arrived with a fairly large black scuff. Luckily it cleaned off with a bit of elbow grease. - The backrest can be locked in place while it is fully upright, but you cannot lock it in place when it is tilted back. I don't like to sit fully upright for very long, so it will take some time to get used to the moving backrest. I find that the "boosted" setting on the dial provides a good amount of resistance on the backrest without too much movement while tilting back. - The armrests are great, but they can be a bit annoying. They swivel left and right and are supposd to move with your arms, but I would prefer to just lock them in place so they always point directly forward. Unfortunately, you can't do that, and after a few hours, my elbows have usually bumped them enough times that they have both shifted in various directions. === OVERALL === Minor drawbacks aside, this is the best desk/office chair I have ever owned. Compared to my old, cheap office store chair, the Steelcase Series 1 is barely noticeable after hours of use -- and that's how it should be. It seems to contour to your body and provides support in all of the right places. Anyone can assemble this chair in less than 5 minutes and the design is modern and sleek. I'm confident it will serve me well for years to come.

Right off the bat, This Steelcase Series 1 Chair with Seagull Frame is absolutely the most comfortable chair I have ever sat on. It is extremely high quality and sleek design. I have two desk setups at my home; one is a high-end gaming chair, and the second is a basic chair for the office desk. My gaming chair is costly and considered one of the highest-ranked brands. However, after using this Steelcase chair, I have to admit that its comfort is unmatchable. The chair packaging is noticeably compact, and unboxing was super easy. Assembly is quick as the chair is almost assembled out of the box. Design: this ergonomic chair has a contemporary design and is well constructed. I can feel the high-quality materials and how it was built to withstand. The chair is fully adjustable, including the height, armrest, recline tension, and lumbar support. Also, the casters are smooth BUT designed for hard floors. I have been sitting on it for two days all day long working from home, and I admit that the chair is very durable and comfortable that I can't compare it with any other chairs I have used before and still use now. Expertly designed and marvelously built to provide the key and most needed features in any chair, which are comfort and durability. The back mesh is neat and comfortable and does cause any sweat as the air runs through freely. This chair pleased me and gave me comfort throughout my workday.

Throughout the pandemic I found myself working from home and after two years I decided that my weekend special office supply store chair was no longer cutting it. I found my posture to be slowly waning and I wanted something that I could comfortably work in all day long. In my previous office days our company had Steelcase chairs and one thing I could always appreciate was the excellent lumbar support and build quality that the brand offered. When I saw that Best Buy was offering a Steelcase chair in a fun white color (Seagull) I decided to take the leap! The order was shipped directly to my house and at first I was intimidated by the size of the box. It was large and I expected it to be heavy. It was not. Pleasant surprise #1. When I opened the box I expected a long complicated assembly process with lots of tiny screws and Allan wrenches in my future. Instead I found 4 parts carefully wrapped in plastic that simply popped together. I honestly don't think this could have been any easier to put together. No screws, no Allen wrenches. Easy. Loved it! The controls for height and back movement are about as easy as anything I've ever used. My previous office char had three levers to pull and I constantly found myself pushing the wrong one and adjusting the the tilt when I wanted to adjust the height. With this chair the single flapper adjusts the height and handles my size with ease and feels sturdy. A selection knob then allows you to either lock the back or provide a supported recline. It's all very intuitive. The lumbar bar was easy enough to adjust up and down, though I'll admit it was the only feature that didn't feel premium. The bar kind of slid up and down in a clunky way and you almost have to get out of the chair once it feels like it's in the right position and it feels straight. An under appreciated feature of the chair has to be the arms. triggers on the side allow the arm height to be customized and the arm pads themselves rotate in an almost 360 degree manner. I am 6'3" 270 and I don't like to feel squeezed into my office chair. By adjusting the arms to proper height and floating the arm pads to maximum width I feel like I have plenty of space. In summary I am very pleased with this chair so far. My posture has never been better and I can feel the difference in my neck and lower back at the end of a long day. Bravo Steelcase! Side note - the white Seagull frame is pretty baller. I'd love to be able to order replacement seats with a fun color when I get tired of the gray. I'm sure I could contact their parts department, but it might be worth offering since it's so easy to install the seats!

Perfect home office chair for my needs with its stylish looks and ergonomics. The Steelcase Series 1 Chair with Seagull Frame comes in a fairly compact box that houses all the components for a super simple setup. I unboxed my chair and had it put together in under 5 minutes total, so I highly recommend it for its plug-and-play factor. I appreciated the partial assembly and it really gets you up and running quickly. The frame and style of this seat look classy and modern at the same time. The color scheme of gray and off-white looks contemporary and would ideally fit in an office setting or home office. This office chair can hold up to 400 lbs., but my 165 lb. frame fits really well into this chair. There are many comfort features built into the chair which I have been very pleased with. Sliding adjustable seat depth, adjustable arms with up/down, forward/back, and left/right movement. There is also an easy-to-operate seat height adjustment, along with a back reclining lock, and also adjustable lumbar support on the rear of the chair. With so many various adjustments, I have been able to have a more comfortable workday with my work-from-home schedule. I feel that the cushioning on this office chair is adequate and not overly soft or hard. The armrests also have a slight cushion to them with a soft plastic feel, so it makes it a bit more comfortable through my work day. I have really enjoyed using this chair in my home office setting. I have a carpeted floor and use an office pad/mat. The office chair has great maneuverability with its hard floor casters and doesn't make any noise. So thankful that when I put this chair together, the casters were already installed and saved me a bunch of time. There is a 5-star base design with 5 casters in case it's hard to tell in the photos. Quiet, comfortable, and easy to find your right fit. The night owl/graphite color scheme looks good for most settings in my opinion. PRO: Many positions to adjust for your right fit Smooth movement Classy looks CON: None

This reminds me a lot of my office chair at work that I sat in for many hours over several years, but now I have it at home. Super simple to set up and plenty of adjustments to make it fit. However, there are some minor adjustments I feel are needed. Out of the box there are no tools required, just set things in place and snap together and you are ready to sit down. The mesh back helps keep max air flow while still being firm enough to give support with an adjustable lumbar support. The seat is comfortable and allows you to adjust forwards and back to help relieve pressure under your legs for use with longer legs especially. The controls are pretty standard with the pneumatic height adjustment and a lock with 2 positions for back tension. One thing I found missing is that other chairs usually have a tension screw that allows you to get that specific tension while this has only two presets and a lock. The armrests are adjustable in height and the padding on top can be adjusted in multiple directions, but the main body of the arms are locked into position. Essentially you can only get so wide with them while the padding can come a little closer. The casters are clearly designed for carpet as they are a bit stiff and need the friction to make them roll smoothly. Overall, this chair is simple and comfortable. It is mostly plastic, so the style might not be for everyone. Besides those minor adjustment points noted above I have sat in it without issue for many hours now. I wouldn’t say it looks like luxury, but does kind of have a modern style to it.

I was very excited to upgrade my office chair with the Steelcase Series 1 chair. It looks amazing and super sleek and modern. The only problem is, at least for me, it just isn’t comfortable. Which despite how cool it looks, It’s just not the chair I want to spend 5-8 hours in working. I really hate to say that because again…it looks super cool! I got it out of the box and set up was very easy. The polymer is solid and I got the white one with the gray knit seat. I noticed as I put it together (again super easy set up) that it was small. I am 6’1 and weigh about 180. I snapped it together and sat down. Thud. No cushion in the seat, no comfort on the back. My back was supported…it just has no cushioning and is …uncomfortable. It has a lumbar support and a lot of cool adjustability that I began to explore. The seat itself can move forward and backward to adjust to leg length as it relates to the seated legs and buttock. The arms of the chair can move up and down and swivel side to side but those arms felt flimsy and the movement was minimal and the arm pads again were also just not comfortable to rest my forearms on. The chair also had a knob under the seat that can adjust the tension on the back and allow it to sweep backwards for you to lean back then move forward with you but again I found it to just be small and uncomfortable. In other words all the adjustability really doesn’t matter if the whole experience is uncomfortable. Steelcase is a very good chair company I think for like a school buying 40 chairs for a computer lab, They are versatile, adjustable and look super cool and won’t be too comfortable to keep a person at the computer lab too long so turn over can happen at the stations. They also seem like they would be durable for high use. Over all, I would recommend a person for sure sit in it before you buy it if you can. If you are ok with the comfort level, this might be the right chair for you. For me, I want comfort and style but comfort is my number 1. This would be a good chair for a student in a dorm room or a high visibility and low use home office maybe…just not my go to chair for work or play. It’s just not the right chair for me.

I needed a new chair for my home office and rapidly came to the realization that there is a lot of inferior merchandise that is worth avoiding. However, when I saw the Steelcase Series 1 ergonomic task chair I was immediately very interested. The Steelcase company name is immediately recognizable. Steelcase has been manufacturing office furniture since 1912. The Steelcase name has always been associated with high quality, very durable office furniture. In fact, Steelcase has been an innovator in office furniture systems for decades. Shortly after the end of World War II, Steelcase Series 15 desks and Steelcase office chairs became ubiquitous in corporate and government offices throughout America. Those Steelcase desks and chairs were built like tanks, and I have firsthand knowledge of how much hard use, wear and tear and abuse they endured without failing. It genuinely seemed that they would last forever. Steelcase chairs quite literally would “take a beating, and keep on seating”. As soon as my new Steelcase Series 1 chair was delivered, I knew that Steelcase chairs still can take a beating, and keep on seating. The carrier that delivered my chair (not the one with the brown trucks) clearly did their level best to inflict as much damage as they could to the carton. The box was clearly mishandled and abused, and the bottom few inches of the carton were also saturated with water. Due to the rough handling, and likely being dropped more than once, the contents of the carton were significantly displaced from how they were packed prior to shipping. My new Steelcase Series 1 chair had taken its first (and hopefully last) beating, but had no damage other than a couple of scratches on an armrest. The Series 1 chair requires minimal assembly time or effort. It arrives as four modular sub-assemblies. The heavy duty, five leg base has the casters preinstalled. The plastic is very thick-walled, and is reinforced with internal webs. The Series 1 chair may be ordered with either 2 ½” “soft”, dual-wheel, roll control casters for hard surface floors like tile, wood plank or chair mats, or “hard” casters for carpeted floors. The second component is the pneumatic cylinder which is simply inserted into the base. The next module is the preassembled chair frame, which includes the back and armrests, as well as the base for the seat cushion. That module is simply set on the pneumatic cylinder. Finally, the cloth upholstered seat cushion is slid onto the base until it clicks into place and assembly is complete. The entire process entails only three simple assembly steps which require about three minutes, and involve no tools. This extremely quick and simple assembly process is illustrated on an assembly instruction sheet included with the chair, and is also demonstrated in a video on the Steelcase website. Once fully assembled, it is time to “take a seat” and adjust the chair to your own preferences. The Series 1 chair has a 3D Microknit polyester mesh fabric back which allows air to flow freely. I like the mesh back for both its comfortable support, as well as the ventilation. The mesh is supported by horizontal ribs which are integral to the molded plastic frame of the chair. Additionally, there is an adjustable lumbar support rib which is approximately 4” wide, which is easily adjusted to fit the individual user. The seat back is weight activated reclinable and reclines independently of the seat cushion which remains in a fixed position. The recline function is adjustable with a knob which is integrated with the control lever for pneumatic seat elevation. The recline adjustment knob has three positions including “locked” (no recline), recline with tension boost which adds resistance when you lean back, and recline without boosted tension which allows easier reclining, and which best suits my preference the majority of the time. The seat cushion is upholstered with a knit polyester fabric that is soft and comfortable and appears likely to be very durable. The seams and stitching are flawless. The polyurethane foam within the cushion is pliable, yet still firm. The seat cushion is adjustable fore and aft through the use of the seat depth release button on the lower right underside of the seat pan. The armrests are independently adjustable for height (5” range) with a release button located on the bottom of each armrest. The cap of each armrest can be adjusted inward or outward 4”, forward or aft, and pivoted inward or outward about 40° of rotation. This level of flexibility in adjustment of the armrests is incredibly accommodating to ensure a comfortable position at all times. The pneumatic seat elevation adjustment ranges from a seat height of 16 ½” to 21 ½” with the upward rotation of the adjustment lever on the right side of the chair. The seat of course also swivels 360°. The Series 1 chair easily and comfortably accommodates a wide range of people, short and tall, large and small, yet the overall size and appearance of the chair are that of a sleek, modern and relatively compact chair which does not physically or visually overwhelm. The particular color scheme of this Series 1 chair is “Seagull” for the molded plastic frame and base, “Night Owl” for the upholstered seat cushion and “Graphite” for the 3D Microknit mesh back. Seagull is an off-white to almost very light gray, and the Night Owl cushion is a medium gray. The armrests are a slightly darker gray named “Sterling Dark Solid”, and the Graphite mesh back is also a dark grey. These various contrasting and complimenting shades produce a very clean and modern appearance that also pleased my wife who is the “decorator-in-chief” of this household. I am very pleased with the Steelcase Series 1 chair. First and foremost, it is very comfortable and supportive to sit in. There is a very wide range of adjustments which increase overall comfort in the chair. The chair appears to be very well made. It is manufactured in the USA (although some of its parts are imported). The chair genuinely appears to potentially be very durable and long lived. The plastic is very thick and heavy-duty. The upholstery fabric and mesh back appear to be very high quality, and very nicely finished. All of the components also appear to be high quality and durable including the casters and the pneumatic piston assembly. My singular regret is that I was unable to get this chair with the optional headrest that is easily installed on the frame. I always find a headrest to be particularly beneficial when reclining the chair when in “deep thought”. The appearance of the Steelcase Series 1 chair is sleek, clean and modern and is complimentary to either home or office use. Of course the Steelcase Series 1 chair bears no physical resemblance whatsoever to the steel frame, fabric and vinyl Steelcase chairs of fifty and sixty (and longer) years ago, however I am impressed with the fact that the Steelcase Series 1 chair is very well constructed and will be very durable and long lived. The Steelcase Series 1 chair is a great chair and a great choice!

It's comfortable. One's back doesn't hurt when sitting in the chair. One is able to sit for longer periods of time. We would have preferred that the arm heads didn't swivel, but that's not a deal breaker. The chair is holding its height; there's no slippage on the vertical. It rolls smoothly on the carpet.

Steelcase Series 1 Chair is a darn good chair. And when I mean that. I really mean it. This was one of the fastest setups I’ve played with and I was back to my PC in no time. Set up with one of the easiest things I’ve ever encountered when putting a chair together it was literally three pieces to put together and I put it together within 5 to 10 minutes. I swear I never had it is easy putting together a chair at all that alone to me is worth five out of five stars. But it’s not that Steelcase made it easy to assemble they also made it oh so comfortable! I want to get it out the way that this chair has some of the best back support I’ve used in a chair in a while. It just arches to your back perfectly when you’re sitting at a desk. The comfy back allows you to lean on at three different levels; the last level allows you to lean the chair further back. There is no headrest which will probably be my only gripe but it’s unnecessary as the chair just support you in setting up without pain. This is not a gaming chair by any means but it’s definitely a chair I can set in for hours enjoying. A feature-rich chair without all the gaming aesthetic to it can be useful to people. It doesn’t take up much footprint in the office giving me a bit more room to move the chair in. You can adjust the armrest on both sides up-and-down and the armrest can also swivel from side to side. SteelSeries chair glides around the room with ease moving it around isn’t a burden either. I get the feeling that this chair also automatically adjusts your weight somehow as you can feel the springs Adjust back up when you sit down on it. The design is very nice and definitely not ugly but it doesn’t leave an impression either. I’ve gotten the white color though I will probably go with black next time to fit the overall office. The chair looks good in any office setup you got going. Most of the buttons and knobs on the chair are self-explanatory so I don’t need to go into detail there. I just like the chair, something I’m very worried about when buying. But SteelSeries made a good chair! Honestly, I just want to see more chairs from them in different categories. Definitely recommend it to the family as they would enjoy the support this chair has.

The Steelcase Series 1 Chair is very easy to assemble. Just follow the steps on the assembly instructions. I haven't had time to use it a lot so can't comment about comfort over long periods of sitting. The seat cushion seems a little on the hard side. The lumbar support is just hard piece of plastic that can be adjusted up and down. (I'll probably buy a cushion for more comfortable lumbar support but that's a personal preference). It's cumbersome to adjust it while sitting on the char. The seat adjusts back and forward for longer or shorter legs. Tall people might want a seat that adjust forward a little more. I'm only 5' 7" with short legs and with the seat adjusted all the way forward it's just right for me. The swivel armrests are kind of weird but they don't bother me. The quality does seem very good. The minus one star is only because I haven't used it enough to say it's really comfortable for me. It's replacing a Hon Ignition that I have had for about 8 years.

I needed to replace my old gaming chair that was all pleather and unbreathable with something that especially let my back breathe, since I work from home full time now, I am parked in this chair eight + hours a day. This chair also helps with posture, as it doesn't have that weird seat tilt feature, and forces me to sit up-right more and not slouch. There's adjustable lumbar which is nice, and the seat pad slides forward or back to accomodate sitting styles? THE COOLEST thing about this aside from the arm rests that slide out from the frame, is that I got this assembled in less than ten minutes. It all snap, crackle, pops into place. I assembled it on my lunch break and was working in it for the rest of the day. It's operation is simple, there's a stick, that has a knob bilt in and that unlocks the seat back for reclining, which i find my self doing more these days. I like to figit. There is a small slide lever that unlocks the seat pad to slide away from or closer to the seat back, and that was a nice adjustment ability. I took a star away however, the armrest 'pads' are the plastic-y rubbery feel and they SLIDE. So don't use the armrests to try and push off, it slides and then your hands are positioned weirdly. I'd like to see at least a gel insert where my arms sit on those arm pads. Any chair is really going to have a nag point.. my old chair, the one before that, I all have nags about them but this one was just easy to assemble and while it may not look super sturdy, it is.

I looked at a lot of chairs and chose this one because it seemed very customizable. I love that the arm rests and lumbar support can be adjusted easily to fit my needs. It arrived quickly and undamaged. I assembled it alone and in just a few minutes. I love the cream colored cushion and white frame but wish the arm rest color wasn't gray. It rolls really well on my hardwood floors, I purchased the wood floor casters that were optional. I highly recommend this chair!

Like many folks, I started working from home much more often starting 2 years ago. Many of the things I took for granted at an office have since made their way home. A 2nd monitor, a nicer keyboard. These were easy things to migrate home where I was doing the bulk of my work at a start up tech company. A good chair was much more elusive until recently. I knew I wanted something nicer than what I’d gotten from an office supply store many moons ago. Nothing I sat it at any of the local stores felt right. They were too short, too cushioned, too narrow, or just didn’t have the support for long term daily usage. Then I found Steelcase’s chair. The chair is solidly made and adjusts to a height which makes my feet comfortable. My knees are supported from the chair base which is adjustable front and back. My arms rest comfortably on the rests which slide to the sides or front. They also adjust up and down independently of each other. The back is open mesh, but very supportive. Plastic ribs run across the back, ensuring the hours I spend in the chair are productive and pain free. The chair tilts back when desired, but can also be locked in place when you want to focus and sit upright. The base is soft, but supportive. In short, when I stand up from this chair, I feel the same as if I’d used a chair from my office. I’m around 5’ 10” / 200lbs and this chair barely moves when I sit. Set up was a snap with the only requirement to add the center post to the base and pop the chair on. It was over in < 5 minutes and has been solid since then. The white and gray coloring is neutral and will fit in with the decor of any room where you have a desk. The cloth covers promise to be easy to clean. While it’s a bit pricey, it’s worth the cost if you’re going to be spending lots of time working from home.

Seat cushion is supportive and backrest is okay. Armrest are decent but can feel flismy. Over all build quality is 3.5 out of 5 at best but maybe i got a bad unit. Just wish the arm rest were more secured and less wobbly but over all not a terrible deal.

This is a fantastic chair. We already have two of this brand at our other home and simply wanted to get the same knowing the comfort. While this is not the same model we have the quality is still there. Funny story.. all vinyl floors, old condo high rise. I borrowed an office chair from work while this one was on order, getting items to Hawaii can take a while, and the borrowed chair we always had to chase as it simply would roll away, even when sitting on it. This one is made for solid floors and NOW I understand the difference and why it matters
