Overall this is a good keyboard. It’s analog switches provide a new approach to video gaming and offer a lot of customization the addition of the “Rapid Trigger” feature that is made possible by analog truly changes movement in video games, and sometimes can really give you a competitive advantage. Wireless functionality is good if not great. I haven’t had any issues with wireless connection and there is no noticeable latency. Build quality is good for a gaming keyboard however, for this price, I would’ve hoped for more attention to be paid to fit, finish, and sound. I would’ve preferred a metal chassis and less wobbly keycaps it sounds and feels like $100 aiming keyboard you can buy from any of the major brands. The real issue I have with his keyboard is it software that is required to be on while using it. To take advantage of standout features like “rapid trigger” and “dual actuation” the software must be running in the background, which takes up your computer’s resources. More importantly, the UI is cluttered and confusing. It is filled with bloat like an aim trainer that I haven’t even bothered to use adjusting RGB is in an entirely separate area of the program than the rest of the keyboard’s settings. Changing keybinds and setting up dual actuation is split up to 3 tabs, all of which could easily be put into one clear page. All in all, if all you want is a good analog gaming keyboard, I’d recommend looking at Wooting and their Wooting 60HE. They were the ones that popularized analog keyboards and have really dialed in on a solid design with much more functionality. But if you NEED a TKL layout and/or Wireless capability, this keyboard might be the one to get.

Runs really good, keys are so responsive on the lightest setting that I accidentally press the wrong ones sometimes. I like how you can adjust the pressure of how much you have to press the keys. The wireless connection works really well and it feels like it’s wired. Battery last long and overall is a great keyboard.

This is a big improvement from the original apex pro tkl! I only say this because this model is wireless. As for the Omni point switches, I can’t really tell the difference between this one and the previous model but I can say that you barely need to press a key to activate it. Now as for the title, I did experience a bug with this keyboard. I honestly thought I received a defective unit at first because the light for the enter key was not synced with the rest of the keys and I was ready to go to the store to exchange it up until I decided to uninstall the steelseries software. I reinstalled the software and now every key is synced. If you already own the the original Apex pro tkl then it’s not really of a big upgrade unless if you want the wireless version.

very quick responsive keyboard. love the customization that’s offered through the Steelseries engine. pretty pricey for what you get but i don’t regret the purchase.

Its sleek having the wrist bar is great it dont slip around on the desk and the switches are a nice soft press but are very quick im glad I chose this over the other 2 i was looking at would recommend to friends and family

Keyboard works great has a wonderful battery life and it’s doesn’t feel like it has a delay when wireless what more could you want I’d recommend it to everyone

I love this keyboard a little pricey but the keys on the board are amazing being able to adjust the actuation while I’m switching from school to gaming

This is the best thing for high end gaming, if your looking for the greatest keyboard for intense competition then Best Buy is the way to go!

I’ve been using the Apex Pro TKL V2 Wireless for a bit now and this thing is actually crazy. I play a lot of fast paced FPS and racing games and the first thing I noticed is how stupid fast the keys react. You barely touch them and they fire instantly. It feels like the keyboard is reading my mind. I tightened up my WASD and abilities and it legit made my movement feel cleaner. The 2 in 1 action keys are sick too. In shooters I set a light press for walk and a deeper press for sprint and it feels natural. In racing games I use it for throttle control and it actually works. The wireless connection is solid. No drops. No delay. I swap between 2.4 and Bluetooth depending on what I’m doing and both feel smooth. The keyboard itself feels premium. Heavy top plate, strong frame, nice keycaps, and the lighting looks clean. If you like fast reaction games, this keyboard gives you every possible advantage. It took me a little time to dial it in but once I did the keyboard felt like an extension of my hands. It genuinely improved how I move and react. If you play anything sweaty or competitive this thing is worth it.

Good keyboard, wireless is fantastic. Battery life seems to be okay but haven’t fully stress tested that. Switches are nice too haven’t fully used the features but in theory is cool

I somehow convinced myself id need the wireless version over the wired because i was worried of long time use the cable would fail. Main complaint with this keyboard is the price 250 is steep so id only recommend if its on sale otherwise go with the wired instead. The keyboard is amazing I personally play fortnite so if someone was looking for a keyboard to go with that game especially the optical switches are a game changer. Plenty of customization with the accusation. Another question that someone might have is that the key profiles you set on the app do save but any lighting or oled animations dont if your on console

I just got the keyboard and updated its firmware in steelseries GG. Then I found a ridiculous glitch that one press on a key would make multiple letters occur. I tried changing the USB port and connecting the keyboard to my another laptop, but this problem still occurred. I was almost about to return this keyboard. But when I tried to adjust the actuation to other levels in steelseries GG, this glitch magically disappeared. So to everyone that has the same problem (One press on a key makes multiple letters occur), just try adjusting the actuation and then change it back. Besides that glitch which can be fixed manually, this keyboard is a great upgrade from the previous wired version.

The keys feel and look better than the original apex pro. I like the shape and size. Some say it doesn’t feel as unique or as premium, but I personally prefer this shape and size. It’s more compact. I bought this because I don’t like full size keyboards for gaming due to how much space they take up, but I also hate 60% keyboards because I need the arrow keys for some games, and I absolutely need the function keys and the delete key. Overall, this keyboard feels better than the original for typing. I wish this keyboard I included the print screen key instead of home or end. Taking screenshots is an extra step. I do wish it wasn’t as janky sometimes in wired mode when I boot up my pc. Sometimes it decides not to power on unless I switch to wireless or unplug and plug it back in. This issue only happens on the lock screen after a power on. It’s possible it could be related to my motherboard, but I don’t think so. No other keyboard I have does this. If you need a wireless keyboard with low latency, this is a great choice. Have the option of wired, wireless, and Bluetooth is wonderful. I can easily use it with different computers, one wired, one wireless.

If your looking for a hyper sensitive keyboard for competitive gameplay this is the board you want, you can play both wired or wireless whatever you prefer & has a decent battery life

I love the SteelSeries lineup. Mainly bought it for the wireless aspect, and I don’t regret it. Keeps a charge for a while and the keys feels great too.
