Stinger - 10.1” Android Auto/Apple CarPlay Bluetooth Digital Media Receiver - Black

I bought this Stinger Horizon 10 for my 2016 Tundra. I love it! The screen is big and clear and many features that I have not used to its fullest potential. The connection to my phone using CarPlay takes a few seconds. It is not a big deal since I don’t immediately drive off after starting my engine. I have installed a Kicker amplifier and subwoofer and WOW! Good pairing and music is much fuller. I hope later there will be an update to add features to my Tundra functionality like A/C and heat and heated seats and gauges for my tire pressure.

Installed in 2007 dodge ram. The large display and knob is amazing compared to a small 6.8 pioneer that i had before. The display is so much easier to see and navigate around and the knob makes it so much more convenient for volume control. I have not used the hdmi or other options because i dont have much need for them. Very simple to put togther just time consuming. The only thing i didnt like was trying to slide the display on to the single din mount because it wouldnt slide as easy, thought i was going to break it but pushed it enoigh to not slide out.

This receive is fantastic!!! I purchased the Sony AX4000 assuming the matt screen would be great when the top is off on the Wrangler and I couldn't see the screen during the day. I returned it and then purchased the Kenwood DMX8710S, which had a better screen however it took an unbelievable amount of time for it to connect to Android Auto, the screen had moister behind it on humid days, the audio was not as good as Sony, and the screen was still difficult to see. I did not want to spend $1200 on a stereo for my Wrangler as it's a 3rd summer vehicle, however I swallowed the expense and I couldn't be happier. Everything I've mentioned with regard to the Sony and Kenwood does not exist at all. I love the 10" screen, it's easy to read in any lighting (direct sun), Android Auto connects almost immediately, and the sound quality is fantastic. Yes, it's very pricey, however I can assure you that having tried both the Sony and the Kenwood, you will find that the Stinger Horizon 10 for the JKU will not leave you hoping for something better; it's wonderful and I have no regrets:) But It!!!!

Is it to use the radio. So much to use on it from color changes to Bluetooth to voice to talk hooks up great in my jeep.
