The case holds iPad securely. The cover is held in place with a magnetic closure. I have not dropped my iPad, but the case has a flexible rubberized edge which should protect it from bumps. The cover folds in one direction to stand up the iPad. What I like best is the storage slot for the Apple Pencil. The pencil snaps securely into the slot. The cover folds over the edge where the pencil is stored which further protects it from falling out. There’s even a spot to store the connector for pencil to cable charging. It’s a good case for casual use. For drop protection you might want something more heavy duty.

I bought this case in 6/10/20 and it’s not good quality for the price I paid.. It’s tearing apart .. I’ve bought my husband a ICase at a much lower price at the same time and his case is still in good condition no problems so I think I’ll be purchasing one also.. So disappointed in this case I will not purchase again!!

Garbage. Purchase something else if you’re reading this. This caused my iPad to overheat & shut off. My device would never turn back on & it was only 8 months old. Also, it wasn’t as good a fit as stated. It was somewhat snug, but I figured the better to protect my device. All the while, it was actually suffocating it…smh.
