it was a very reasonable price . Easy to install and easy to setup. This streaming stick that plugs into the TV eliminates clutter around the TV. A bonus since the TV it is on is in the kitchen where counter space is at a premium . The fact that there is an xfinity app within the roku choices has now saved me money because I was able to return the cable control box whose rental fee has risen to approximately nine dollars per month. overall this was an excellent purchase for me.

PRO: Inexpensive. PRO: Quick & easy to setup with On-screen setup menus, easy to follow. PRO: All needed cabling provided. ( a special extender connector cable is offered from ROKU upon request.) PRO: The remote self-pairs to your WI-FI after batteries (included) are installed. PRO: Remote does have voice activation and works with Alexa. CON: Remote feels cheap & lack of texturing gives it a slippery feel and it is very small (about 1/2 size of usual remote); I had trouble trying NOT to let it slide out of my hand during setup. CON: Side mounted mute & volume buttons are too easy to hit when grasping the unit. Overall, you get what you pay for. The price is reasonable when considering the fact that ROKU does not have a monthly subscription fee. And except for what premium accesses the user chooses to sign up for beyond the thousands of free-access programs, there are no other charges.
Great interface, easy to use. So much faster than my Fire Stick. Excellent remote.

Love my Roku's. we have him on 6 TV'S. Google Chrome Cast as well. The Roku is less intuitive but simple interface. You pick which streaming service from 100's of them. Majority are free. Remote controls not only the stream but also will auto pair with you TV for power on and off, volume controls including mute. This model of Roku has 4k as well as an extra antenna which Gives you better pick up of your wifi for stronger streaming. Also has twice the storage for channels screensavers and the like over early models. Go with the Streaming Stick + Plus 3810R

I have over 400 digital copies of movies and some TV episodes also on the Vudu platform and my Amazon Fire Sticks do not have a Vudu app although they do have a Movies Anywhere app but, the MA app only shares certain content due to DMR restrictions apparently, leaving me unable to access approximately 1/2 my digital movies and unable to access ANY of my digital TV. So, as an experiment, I decided to try the Roku and it does have a Vudu app. AND came with a $5 Vudu credit! I sometimes spend the weekend with friends and will bring my Roku stick and can access ALL of my digital movies and TV through Vudu and no longer have to carry stacks of DVDs or Blu-Rays anymore. GREAT for Hotel rooms with Wifi too!! I also have a Netflix and Hulu subscription & the Streaming Stick+ Remote included with the SKU #3810 RW has a dedicated button for Netflix Hulu Vudu and Sling TV and Voice control. The remote can also be used to operate the TV power on and off and volume + and - functions. I like this device so much that I even got a second one with an incredible Black Friday deal!

Great product! Makes your dumb TV a smart TV and with little to no wires since it plugs directly into your TV’s HDMI port. The stick has two power options: 1) Traditional Mini USB to wall outlet (a protruding wire that is somewhat cumbersome) or 2) a much better mini USB to USB-A (traditional USB) which most modern TV’s have so on that case a tiny less than 1 ft cable hidden behind your TV. Device is easy to set up and like I said let’s you access hundreds of apps like: Hulu, Sling, ESPN, Disney+, Apple TV+, Netflix, tons of other streaming channels and access to free Roku channels (Roku channel has many oldies for those of you missing that on your modern streaking options). Also very affordable price.

I originally bought one of these because of the cheap tv I have and the manufacturer wasn’t updating apps on it. I have since bought two more of these. The best feature in my opinion is being able to control it with my android or apple device.

This stick takes a while to set up. Hopefully your a roku regular because its all done on a roku site. Its still setting up after 10 minutes of downloading and I have a blazing fast connection/router/etc. I think they could and should have done some of this at the factory. Its auto sensing/connecting to your tv was instant. Didnt have to do a thing. Power and volume is great but on this they even added a mute button. Wish it worked on people, 1 in particular. Anyways its done uploading and setting up. Lots of new themes, last 1 had maybe a couple. Also we can change closed caption size, style, color, opacity, background color and opacity and the window. I only use it on reply or when the mute button doesnt work if you know what I mean but its nice to not have to replay more because I cant read it. Lots of new stuff, certainly worth the $50 they charge, i should have got 2 when it was on sale for 1/2 of that. I got this for a room where 1 had gone bad but have to use it in my tv room because that 1 just went bad. What the heck roku. A few years, ok maybe 10 but still. This one comes with a remote long range wireless reciever and an extension usb. If you need an extention hdmi they will send you 1 free. So either get this 1 or the ultra, dont mess around with the less expensive 1s, its only a few bucks. Also remeber these can go bad so dont buy it used. Watch model #s too because they change as the time goes by but the name can stay the same. Good luck.

I used this to hard wire a steaming player into my Chrysler Pacifica. I was able to use (separately purchased) right angle cables and actually placed the device into the back of the seat. Works wonderfully and remote works great even without LOS.

The Roku Streaming Stick+ is a great companion to any TV - smart or otherwise. I have purchased three of them over the years. Two to use with a 2008 Sharp TV, 2018 4K Westinghouse, and one for my parents' 2010 LG. They are very easy to set up with a Roku account and offer smooth streaming over Wi-Fi. Picture quality is excellent with Netflix, Peacock, Tubi, Crackle, and the Roku Channel.

Do I love my Roku! It functions properly each time I use it. I love that the remote.has a Netflix button and that they now offer HBO, Peacok, Tubi apps. I love that they send you a free extender if your HDMI outlet isn’t accessible. When I got it, it worked like a charm! I love the little beep It makes with each selection change. I love that I could order it for free shipping because I set up curbside pick up.

I had no idea how to set up a Roku but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it actually was. I especially love how you can use the same remote for volume and for power. Don't even have to use my other remotes anymore. Super awesome and I really like the free movies provided with Roku.

I finally was able to cancel my cable subscription. I should’ve got one sooner. It’s fast and easy to use.

I love my ROKU streaming stick. It’s easy to use. I love the voice remote, and I stream so many shows weather it be NETFLIX, HBO, SHOWTIME or Prime. I’m pleased. It’s even easy enough for my grandkids to use it.

Chose the Roku because a friend has two shows on a channel that is only on Roku (OSI 74 - check it out). Very pleased with it. I haven't subscribed to any of the paid services, including Disney +, but may down the road. Even with just the free services, it offers a myriad of choices. Don't miss cable a bit!

Got this for my Samsung 6350 smart TV, and the install, and set-up went smooth as silk. The Roku channel are easy to install, and Disney+ ( the reason I bought this Roku stick ) works great. I recommend this for people who can’t get Disney + as an app. on their smart TV.

Got this roku for our 4K outdoor sunbrite tv. It worked great. Didn’t have to pay for another Comcast box. Streaming stick has a lot of flexibility. Perfect for our outdoor tv
