The best sequels are based on the idea of taking what was loved and improve/expand upon it. In that respect Subnautica Below Zero has achived that. Expanded gameplay features, expanded danger, clearer tutorials making it more friendly for first time players. Playin the first one is not required to play this one but as always it would help jump start your experience to be familiar with the mechanics. The story is fun and you can choose your level of challenge to have a true survival experience or just have fun building. The environment is massive feeling and is full or fun to explore...just don't get eaten.

The original Subnautica was an indie masterpiece. The sequel follows up wonderfully, building on what worked in the first game and making changes to what didn't. Buttery smooth framerate on Ps5 and no load times. Game can be quite immersive.

The game itself was great with minor common bugs like some crashes or things acting weird apart from that it was a great game to play i beat it and got all the trophies which is a fairly quick and easy task. Even after all the trophies are gained and game beaten they still leave plenty of options for more things to do. It was about worth the price if on sale great deal the quality of the case and disc were good with no issues what so ever

Beautiful game and can be frightening at times from the mysterious dsrk waters within it. Story is more in depth compared to the the first in the series. Overall a great sequel with the awesome new vehicle added.

Huge fan of the first one & this sequel just adds more! Game runs great on PS5. Buttery-smooth 60 FPS. My only complaint is that as of this review, the game hasn't incorporated HDR. But it's still a five-star experience & an easy recommendation!

I loved the first Subnautica a lot and i thought it was pretty much perfect. Below Zero is like the first one with more content and amazing graphics. Would definitely recommend.

This is an adventure/exploration type of game where you basically need to survive. I loved the atmosphere but the survival aspects kind of frustrate me. If you’re a fan of survival/crafting types of games there’s no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy this. If it’s not up your alley this game won’t convert you.

The base game is so fun and filled with stuff to do. DLC adds much more

Game crashed my first time playing, before I could save. Once all the bugs are fixed it will be great, played it on pc months ago and loved it. And its not a full price game but probably get more content than most full priced games.

Fun game. It takes some getting used to and figuring out the story plot but once you do it’s fun. Graphics are amazing.
