The bottom of the planter also features a marked location for adding a drainage hole to help maintain root health and provide proper drainage. Use a 1/4" drill bit to create the hole. If a drainage hole is added, be sure to use a saucer beneath the planter when using it indoors to prevent leaks on the floor or other surfaces.
