This steel fire pit insert round bowl is designed to fit into many standard fire pit stands and DIY fire pit kits. The bonfire fire pit bowl features a 23.25-inch outer rim that rests on top of compatible rings or stands, while the 21-inch inner diameter provides ample space for wood-burning fires. The firepit bowl measures 4.75 inches deep with a total height of 5 inches and weighs only 2.6 pounds for lightweight handling. This small fire pit bowl for outside can be used in two ways. It can serve as a drop-in replacement for a worn or damaged fire pit bowl in an existing stand, or it can be incorporated into a custom DIY fire pit made from fire bricks, retaining wall blocks, or stone. For the best fit, the opening of the fire pit ring or stand should measure between 21 and 22.5 inches. For custom installations, the ring opening should measure approximately 21 to 22.5 inches. It is recommended to measure the opening before ordering to confirm fit. Ensure the rim is fully supported around the perimeter before use. Constructed from 0.7 mm alloy steel with a matte black high-temperature paint finish, the wood burning fire pit for outside is lightweight for easier cleaning, repositioning, and ash disposal. Simple upkeep helps extend the life of the wood fire pit for outside season after season. If minor surface rust appears over time, the steel surface of the DIY fire pit bowl can be lightly sanded and touched up with high-temperature spray paint for a refreshed appearance without replacing the entire fire pit setup. To help preserve the finish, allow ashes to cool completely before emptying, cover the firepit insert when not in use, and store it in a dry location to reduce exposure to moisture and outdoor elements.
