This 2-person hammock stand is ready to pair with an existing hammock. The large hammock stand measures 124 inches wide by 40 inches deep by 52.5 inches tall, and the base bars are 55 inches long. The universal stand for hammocks accommodates 9.5- to 14-foot hammocks, including spreader-bar, Brazilian, Mayan, and camping styles. Shorter hammocks attach to the lower hanging points, while the ropes of longer hammocks drape over the top crossbars and secure to the hook bolts to reach the full 14-foot range. Two 18-inch chains provide additional adjustment, making it easy to fine-tune the hammock’s sag and angle for a more comfortable lounging position. Built for single or shared relaxation, the A-frame poles are constructed from 1.5-inch powder-coated tubular steel with a 1.5 mm wall thickness, and the weight capacity is 550 pounds. The crossbar adds stability to help distribute the load for a secure place to relax. Powder-coated steel performs best when kept dry, so wipe the frame down after rain. In coastal, humid, or freezing conditions, shelter or store the hammock base to help extend its service life.
