At first I thought $80 was too high for this but your paying for the size. If you want cheaper then you'll have to get a smaller light. The light may not be 5500 lumins as that is the maximum brightness of this one.. I bought this to make YouTube videos. The other choice was between $27.00 to $45.00 on Amazon for a size 8 to 10. I see now that the bigger the better and a size 12 is great. If you have enough $$ I recommend you get the biggest size 19. I use this with my DSLR. I don't need the cell phone holder but if you plan to shoot videos with your phone then the cell phone holder comes in handy. It holds the phone in the middle of the ring and you can adjust the phone to any angle. I thought about buying a light set that was more professional but the portability of this one and the ability to use USB to turn it on made it a great option. I also like that I can pick many color shades and light levels. If however you plan to use this light in pitch darkness then you might need something bigger and stronger. This light works fine with my room light on. I use a green screen and there was no shadow. FYI I was able to place my DSLR SL2 on the light stand and put the light on my DSLR stand. There is screw of the light is able to connect with different stands. My only complaint is that they don't have an attachment for a DSLR. It is no big deal but it would have been nice. Instead I put the light on my DSLR tripod and put the DSLR on the long stick that way the camera is eye level with me.

I bought this because I live in a place that has a window that goes directly onto a brick wall and I needed more sunlight, and this very large round selfie ring is doing the trick. I can change it from all yellow to all blue to my favorite, mixed, and I can either have it on the stand, or I found a way to place it supported with the camera holder, and somewhere around here I even have something that will make a cell phone take a picture, but that's not what I bought it for. And I absolutely love it, it gives a perfect light. So whether you're using it to give a large amount of light in a wide area, or using it for its intended purpose, it's going to do the job. And the stand that it has is excellent. Small when folded up, and gets as large as you need. Because I'm using it in a different way, sometimes I bump into it so it's important to screw it down particularly tight at the ball, and that is the only problem of any sort I have had with this. Just got to be careful to tighten it down if you're going to leave it up and bump into it. Yes, I would buy this again. Yes I would suggest it to a friend.

Nice and bright. Build quality is a little cheap but still nice and functions well.

Works as advertised. For the facts: plastic construction, metal fittings, attached USB power cord, in-line control switch, Bluetooth shutter control remote, one cellphone clamp, two ball heads, one stem mount, one stand. LED ring light works great. The stand is only adequate as a lamp stand - not for a camera stand; not recommended for outdoor use unless you weigh it down. The pictures show it all.

I purchased this because of the decent price, easy to built, light is perfectly fine and its works good. I will definitely 100% recommend it.

Delivers plenty of light with variable lumens and variable temperature /Kelvin. The adjustments are made via a remote control in-line on the power cord (versus being a knobs or button on the light itself, so you can make adjustments real-time without reaching or leaving the fiend of cute if whatever camera you're using. Also, the diameter is wide enough that I was able to use a full - frame camera (on its own tripod) with no problem.

This light has exceeded my expectations. There’s three different modes the lights light up your face very well and it is fairly tall as well. You can also connect your camera or microphone to the light and it just helps with overall production totally recommend.

Perfect for quick indoor lighting. It’s a good size and not too heavy. I love the multiple settings it has too.

As a teacher, relying on remote teaching this fall, this ring light has made a huge difference. The dimmer only works about 30% of the time though and I couldn't afford to take the risk to return it as it was running very low in stock due to demand. I do wish they would offer a discount for the defect. I did not use the tripod that came with the light, it was too tall. I am using a tripod for my camera and a webcam that sits on my monitor.

Excellent product, I feel I have made a great decision pn buying this. It is great for my son's piano classes on zoom, for taking pictures without the need to have the cell on hand. We are in love with product and totally recommend it!

Ring light is easy to build , length to your option, different light details, and individual camera holder. perfect for small tight spaces and easy for road travel purposes efficient when packing light. awesome investment.

I bought this product on November 1st and it snapped in half due to the weight of my iPhone on March 30th after just 4 uses. I cannot get ahold of the manufacturer and Best Buy customer support is the least helpful customer service team I’ve ever encountered. In fact, the agent today told me she was going to hang up on me. Don’t waste your money.

It's a decent enough light - and relatively easy enough to put 80% together, but the last 20% is really hard to figure out when it comes to mounting the phone. I have extra pieces, parts I don't know where to go and the instructions are a one page filled with a lot of text and no photos that look like the parts I have problems with. I tried looking online for YouTube help but to no avail. Would buy something else next time.

Great purchase no problems easy set up. Came with all the pieces. Multiple settings and different heights.
