Excellent game and great player with some friends online

Yo can play a couple built in levels, but to do the actual point of the game you need to pay even more on top of the money you paid for the actual game. This subscription is to play other people's levels or to share your own levels. If you dont already have a nintendo online subscription, the game is for sure not worth the money.

uper Mario Maker 2 is one of the most creative and versatile titles available on the Nintendo Switch. It gives players the power to design, share, and play their own custom Mario levels, bringing endless replay value. The game expands on the original with a larger toolset, new themes, improved mechanics, and even a full story mode with over 100 Nintendo-designed levels that showcase what’s possible with the creation tools. Whether you enjoy building intricate platforming challenges, puzzle-based stages, or chaotic obstacle courses, the game provides all the freedom you need. The online community is one of its strongest features—players can upload their courses and try creations from all around the world. This means there’s always fresh content to explore. The multiplayer options, both cooperative and versus, add an extra layer of fun and unpredictability. Visually, it retains the charm of the Mario franchise with multiple classic styles, from Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario 3D World. The interface is intuitive, though creating more complex levels can take some practice.

What an awesome game! One of the most unique games I have ever seen, can be very easy to design levels or very hard depending on the knowledge of the user - works for any age (including my 4-year old!).

This game takes everything about Mario and allows you the ability to design your own levels and create your very own experiences in the mushroom kingdom. This is a great game for kids and experienced mario players. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great game, but you have to have a lot of patience. Making your own games takes a lot of time and patience. It’s great if you want to get a rowdy kid to sit still for a bit. I spent hours making games. Its a lot of fun to see all the hard work put into the stuff you can do on this. If you are a parent and want an intellectual, thinking game for your kids....get this! If you are a parent and want to have some fun with the kids quietly, get this! If you have kids that have an engineer kind of mind, get this!

Fun game. Found at a nice price. Can entertain for hours.

Is a good game, but if you are someone that enjoys building creating levels this game is exactly for you, but if you are someone that does not like to created levels in my case me, this game is not for you. You can also play online but many levels are not enjoyable.

I played Mario Bros 35 years ago when it came out. I’ve been playing on PlayStation over the last 15 years. Xbox before that. I tried playing on the Wii two separate purchases and could never get into it. Just bought the switch and this game. It brings me back to the 80’s when I wasted my life away solving Mario puzzles. This game is great fun. My only knock on it is that there is no co-op in story mode. I enjoy playing with my kids.

It's a fun game and being able to build whatever you want on a level is pretty cool. Can access other levels community members make too. Controls are easy enough to learn.

6 year old loves Mario and this game has been so much fun for him to learn

Nintendo really did a good job building on from the first game with new styles/options. Story mode has some great stages and the line community keeps putting out unique and challenging stages which gives this game great longevity.

Good game for Mario fans. The variety of levels in this game's Story Mode is great; you can also play Mario levels made by others, but I found the quality of user-created levels to be quite varying. After a while, it can get boring (you know the Mario games). But definitely a good game to keep whenever you feel like playing Mario every now and then.

People often dislike the maker games but i honestly enjoy being able to play multiple different mario games at the same time

Really nice game! My wife and my son are crazy with this game, is a lot of fun. I am glad that I bought it a little expensive but, well, when I see them playing and really excited is priceless

I bought this for my nephew. I was hesitant because another nephew who had it couldn’t seem to figure out how to build his own levels. My nephew seems to love it and loves to play other people’s levels.

Fun game. Got the code within a few minutes. Keep an eye on your system's storage space it's a bigger game digitally.

Got this digitally, when can I say besides that it is a very fun game? Even outside the user created levels there is a whole story mode to explore!

Love this game! Love how it incorporates the old school Mario games with new, updated ones. My son and I play countless hours on it. The ability to edit and make your own levels is awesome as well!

It’s still remarkable to me that a game like this even exists, even though I know this is the second in a series. The levels people create are amazing, and I include my kids in that. Endless fun.
