Turns itself on and off by itself. Also goes black then reopens itself to homescreen in middle of tasks. Wish they'd give a 30 day grace period for either returns or at least Geek Squad assistance on their open box items. I missed the return date by ONE DAY!!! And i just got 2 weeks ago.

So far so good a bit slow. The Microsoft pen does NOT fit the Kensington case on top.

I was hesitant to purchase the Surface Pro X based on some reviews I had read but with a drop in price, it was not that far off the Surface Go 3 and with better specs. I ended up buying both but eventually determined the Go was just too small for me. When comparing the two side by side and in multiple applications the Surface Pro X was better in almost all cases except portability. Not that the Go is not bad by any means, it is really a nice little multi-purpose machine but the extremely small size really hampers its usability for business. After loading up all the software I would normally use for business purposes, Office, Teams, Notepad++, 7zip, GitHub Desktop, Visual Studio Code, C#, Java, Gimp, and some other tools, I have found the performance to be very good, especially when running native apps and fortunately most of the key apps are native. Windows 11 now supports x64 emulation and it works perfectly. In fact, Office is actually running x64 emulation and is not native and I was shocked at how well it runs. To the point I thought it had to be native. Some pros: Screen is excellent Portability is very good; this thing is thin and pretty light Surface keyboard is excellent Battery life has been excellent. This is the first PC I have ever used where I didn't have immediate battery anxiety. Love the fact it is fanless and runs cool. First PC laptop/2in1 that I have ever used that didn't practically sunburn my lap when using it. Performance has been very good and stays the same even when not plugged in which is a nice change of pace from all my other Intel/AMD based laptops and machines. This is much more akin to the new Apple Macs. This is the base model SQ1 system as well and the new SQ3 based systems will probably be out soon, but this has been just fine and great price. Speakers are awesome Cameras are excellent MS Teams performance in video conference calls has been very good Cons Performance could be a bit better in games Windows 11 is not a great tablet experience compared to IOS or Android tablets, but it is surprisingly not as bad as I would have thought with such small touch targets. Still a better tablet UI when in tablet mode would be nice. Windows Store still needs a lot of work and it isn't always clear in the store which apps are native. I have only had one app so far not install and function. Also still way too many garbage apps in the store and not nearly enough good apps.

Surface Pro X has good battery life compared to other x86 chip Surface or Windows Laptops. However it does not have good performance to do heavy work. I would recommend this product for the user that do not need high performance but need light weight and long battery life, such as journalists, reporters or students

The supported applications although growing, is still narrow. The good news, if you want an unsupported (for ARM) app from the Microsoft App Store, it installs automatically installs Android WSL (emulator) to run that app. The bad news is that, it cannot be done for all the unsupported apps and games! In addition, the Android WSL slows down Surface Pro X as the memory reserved by Android WSL would be around 2GB. If it is one of the many tablets lying around in your house, it is good to have for it's screen size and price. If you plan to use it as your primary device, I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought this laptop to use for college courses. It did not disappoint. It is small and easy to carry around. It doubles as a tablet and computer. It runs fast and smooth. I've used it for multiple semesters of schooling and has not let me down.

I’ve always had 17” laptops. My last one 4-5 year old HP) still works, but has slowed down dramatically. I decided that before it died I’d get a new one. I’ve used the Surface Pro before and the experience I had was good. Being a huge football fan you see them using them all the time. So I decided that I’d try small, fast and light! I am really glad I did. I’m still discovering things it can do! I love that I can just take the keyboard off whenever I don’t need it. Or use a “pen” to take notes. If it were a car I’d say it could go 0-60 in half a second. It is quick to respond to whatever task I ask if it!

I’m in love with this tablet/computer. I bought it because it seemed very portable and light and with my back problems it just was an idea solution. I really love my purchase! Bought another one for my dad :)

Excellent choice for more convenient where you can work on anything from anywhere. Perfect size, super fast and quality is great!
I have had the Windows for 2 years and overall is so easy to use and handle. Like the fact that the screen is touch and could be used in two ways: a tablet and a computer. Great product!

It's great for my basic home needs such as paying bills, viewing social media accounts, creating a few spread sheets and word docs for my local organization. Most importantly, it's great for my husband's hobby of watching YouTube videos. It does have an amazing picture. I wanted something larger than a phone or kindle, but smaller than a laptop. It was a little more than I had wanted to spend, but it checks off all the boxes that were important to me. I did not get the pen with it. I did purchase the detachable keyboard. I've also purchased a USB-C mouse adaptor. I can't give up using a mouse. I love it! The battery life is incredibly long too.

Good device, just wish that it had the haptics for the slim pen. A solid device if you’re on a budget but I recommend the Surface Pro 8 if you can afford to put a little more money on.

This is one of the best products I have every purchased from best buy. The surface pro x--13 is large enough but small enough for me to carry around. I would highly recommend this product to all.

I originally bought this surface as a replacement for my previous one and I can say that I am satisfied with the product. I'm a college student who is always moving around so it is good how durable this surface is and being able to use a keyboard attachment is nice. The only set back there may be for some people is that it does not have a USB port so you will have to get an adapter.

Got for my husband for anniversary. He loves it. Allows him to take his work with him as he travels. Light weight and easy to use
