I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the SVS 12 ported subwoofer, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. SVS has a well-earned reputation for producing high-quality audio equipment, and this subwoofer is no exception. First and foremost, the bass performance of the SVS 12 ported sub is nothing short of exceptional. Whether I was watching action-packed movies or listening to bass-heavy music, this subwoofer delivered deep, powerful bass that added a new dimension to my audio experience. The low-frequency extension is impressive, providing a solid foundation for any audio setup. The build quality of the SVS 12 ported sub is also top-notch. The cabinet is solid and well-constructed, and the overall design exudes durability. The subwoofer's ported enclosure is thoughtfully designed, allowing for efficient airflow and minimizing port noise, resulting in clean and precise bass output.

Wow! What can I say. Great sound from the low end I haven't heard in movies till I bought this subwoofer. Been looking at SVS from a far for a while and this thing is beautiful, well crafted, and well worth the price! The software for your phone/Ipad/theater controller, is easy to use and they have a tutorial that is easy to understand. I was overwhelmed at first with this monster, but the tutorial online made this easy to integrate with my Marantz Cinema 50 and Logan F1's! Thank you SVS for a great product and a really easy user experience! Pay those software engineers! :)

I went from having dual Klipsch 12" subs to this beast of a sub and let me tell you the difference is night and day! After the break in period this sub truly shines! I hear details in movies that I haven't heard before.

First off, UPS sucks as a shipper. When I went to pick up the sub at the Store (ship to store), it looked like UPS did a flying jump kick into the side of the box! Thankfully, there is no detectable damage to the sub. The only thing I can think of is that the box is about 80lbs, and UPS uses a machine to squeeze the box from the sides to pick it up. Terrible any way you look at it. As for the size, it is big! 22Lx17Wx20.5H. Sound wise, it is much better than my older Velodyne DPS4000 sound (miss the velodyne remote though). There are some buttons on the back of it to adjust volume, etc, but it's all digital with blue dot lights, no numbers. You should be using the SVS Bluetooth app for the sub to adjust it. I could really tell the strength of the sub when I watched the Netflix series - Lost in Space - S1 Eps9 (at the approx 3min and 13min mark) & even Edge of Tomorrow's opening scene. The sustain of the sub is awesome! Night and day difference from my old sub. Of course, my old sub was 200w and this one is 550w. SVS Support is top notch I have to say! Any problem or issue, they will take care of you. They will even send you port plugs free of charge if you want them (used for music). Overall, really impressed with the product. I was able to use a 10% coupon that comes with a BB credit card and finance for 24mos.

For the past 15 years we had been using an Infinity PS10 subwoofer. When that finally quit we had the opportunity to upgrade. Since my system is all Klipsch Reference Premiere I had my eye on Klipsch SPL 150W for a long time. However, reviews I had read indicated Klipsch has issues with pre-mature failure of amps. My search led me to SVS, and boy am I glad it did. This PB2000Pro is nothing but excellence. It is a very large subwoofer so make sure you have the room for it, but it drops down into the 16 Hz range where most other subwoofers give up in the upper 20's or low 30's. The mobile App and bluetooth connection allows you to sit in your chair and tune it in, which is extremely helpful. This is a dual port subwoofer, and is great for our large 16x31 family room. I have setting on -10 and 5 on the sub and receiver, so there is plenty of headroom. There is even an option through the electronics on the subwoofer to run it in Sealed Mode (with optional port plugs that SVS provided me free of charge), for those of you that might listen to a lot of music this may be handy, although I think this thing handles music great. Overall, as long as this can fit in your room, you will not be unhappy with the PB2000Pro. One last note, SVS is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. They helped me decide on the best Subwoofer for my situation, and are so responsive and helpful. If I could give this 10 stars I would!

Bottom Line: I'll probably be buying a second one. Subwoofer sounds great, the app is very useful when first configuring it to get all the levels correct while sitting in the primary listening position. My only negative comment isn't about the subwoofer, but about packaging and shipping. The box arrived with multiple giant holes, re-taped, etc. Luckily nothing inside was damaged, but there's not a lot of packing materials to protect it, just a couple foam bumpers at the top and bottom so the sides could have easily been damaged.

Sub was to replace my Bose 700 subwoofer and is a few steps up. For music this sub rocks, for movies it's really impressive. Rocks on movies like Cars to Rambo last blood where you can feel the pressure from the shotgun blasts. One pinch is the LFE auto signal turn on. I have an upper level Marantz AVR and volume must be "+1/3" close to 1/2 for the amp to turn on. I could use the 12volt trigger to solve this, but on the other hand do you want a sub of this caliber on at lower volume when kids are asleep or ect. FYI it's big, my wife calls it a mini cooper.

Jaw dropping bass output and extension, needs to be turned down or it’ll knock things off shelves. But the best part is that extension, making lower frequencies extremely immersive for movies and music. Paired with Kef Q350’s, a Yamaha receiver with a crossover around 90hz. I got it before price hikes, I’m sure there’s better options at this price point, but I will say the bass on my system still blows me away even a year after owning this.

I upgraded from a 12-year-old SVS subwoofer which was very impressive. Based on my experience with SVS I knew I would stick with the same brand. SVS did not disappoint. Not only do I get couch-shaking bass, but I can also hear bass that is now more refined with none of that annoying boominess that cheaper subs to have. The included app is a nice touch and makes it easy to adjust. You can't go wrong with anything from SVS.

Extremely powerful bass, especially low end, it shook my entire kitchen from 30 feet away at 10db during a rumbling scene from a documentary. It can take some experience to tweak settings and get the punchy mid bass to activate, I had a friend help me adjust the settings, I suppose you could ask Best Buy tech to help tune the system. One of the best subs out there for the price it just takes some research and music setting knowledge to really take advantage of this sub.

our cabinet maker commented on how well the PB-2000 Pro was finished. It performs well sitting in the corner of our room. Sometimes you don't know it's there until you feel an explosion pound your chest
