I've owned 5 SVS subs over the years from the venerable 150lb PB13 Ultra and PB 12 Plus DSP to the PB1000. This is my first SVS sub that uses their newest Sledge amp with 295MHz DSP and the phone app. So far, it has been a great experience. The SB3000R sounds very clean and has gobs of output for its size. I would say the sound signature is punchy but it still has some "weight". Being a sealed sub it doesn't plumb the depths quite as well as its much larger, ported brethren but it still goes below 20Hz and with some authority. I doubt many would find anything to complain about here. I'm using a single SB3000R with my PC in a 23x14x9 room and it has more than enough output with power to spare. Watching Season 2 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has been a lot of fun and it shook the house. I actually ended up buying the optional SVS Soundpath isolation feet to keep the kitchen lights downstairs from rattling. If I had one complaint it would be that I miss the old metal grill. The new cloth looks clean and I'm sure it saves the company a buck but the old grill gave SVS subs their signature look and it actually protected the driver! If you are looking for a powerful sub with a small"ish" footprint and a clean appearance that will work with most living room decor, give this SB3000R a try.

Excellent. Sounds great, looks great, solid build, and easy to customize settings - especially with the app.
