This camera was incredibly easy to install and pair with the app. The setup process is smooth and intuitive, and the app is easy to navigate whether I’m viewing live footage or adjusting settings. The video quality is outstanding both day and night. It is sharp, clear, and reliable in all lighting conditions. I also love the two-way talk feature, I can hear and speak to whoever’s outside right from my phone. And since it’s solar powered, I don’t need to worry about battery life, which makes it a very low-maintenance option. Overall this camera delivers solid performance, simplicity, and peace of mind.

Perfect Camera In A Sunny Section Of The Yard

This camera works well out in a corner of the yard that gets a lot of sun. I have it in a corner That doesnt have very good access to an outlet for charging. But since I instaled it over 2 weeks ago the battery life has maybe only gone down about 8%. The solar panel on top does a great job at maintaining the charge that it has. It wont charge the camera to full battery, but it’ll make draining the batter take a long time! The picture quality is pretty good for a 2k resolution camera.

Easier installation but...

Overall, this camera is pretty good.You do need to update the quality through the application. In order to see the best 2k resolution. Very easy to install the app is pretty straightforward. I already use the app for a camera for the cats room. So this is nice to have. I definitely would recommend this one to anyone who needs extra security.

Great solar camera. Easy to install and app interface is very easy to use. Great picture and the night vision feature also works nicely. The 2-way talk feature is clear and not super delayed like other cameras we have used in the past have been.

Easy to install and easy to pair! This solar - wireless security camera is perfect for our home to ensure we can seen movement on our patio. Right out of the box there is no wiring required. Since it is solar powered, we have a great place in the sun to install, giving us a clear view of the back patio. We had to get a memory card. The wireless feature sends streaming video to my phone through the Swann's app which was super easy to install. I finally have a secure system with out all the wiring and complexity - but it does the job. I receive alerts when we are out of the house to movement - which is important for us. Great purchase!

Fantastic, lightweight, and easy to set up

Set up was easy, especially if you already own a Swann camera. It comes with a 16GB MicroSD card so there is no subscription fee. The video quality is good even in night vision mode. The camera is 2K, has a built-in solar panel, 2-way talk, lights, siren, and night vision. You can zoom in or out and the picture is still good. As soon as motion is detected, it records it on the SD card or in the cloud so you can view it on the app. This is a fantastic security camera that detects motion, alerts you when someone is in view, and stores the video footage for you.

Easy Install, Low Profile Outdoor Camera

I installed this outdoor camera to compliment my Ring camera to get a full picture of my porch. It's been super helpful for when the doorbell rings and the activity moves away from the door but still on my porch or driveway. I installed this on my siding with pilot holes within 15 minutes. Make sure you put it in an area that get enough sun to ensure it charges. Clear picture and able to modify the notifications in the SWANN app. Would recommend to anyone who wants easy to install outdoor security cameras. Bonus that it comes with a 16GB card!

The Swann EVO Wireless Solar Security Camera is an affordable “set and forget” wireless home security solution. The camera incorporates a compact solar panel on top, with enough juice to keep the internal lithium battery charged every day. The camera is very lightweight, perfect for installations where a heavy camera might not affix well to surfaces. The camera has a 2K Quad HD 120-degree wide-angle lens, perfect for monitoring yards or driveways. The camera captures full color during daylight and infrared night vision when it’s dark outside. Setup couldn’t have been easier, as the camera shipped pre-charged. Included are a small camera mount and three screws. I would have liked to have seen a “post strap” mounting option included. The Swann Security app displays a Live View of all your Swann cameras when you open the app. You can execute two-way talk, record video, take a picture and sound an alarm with one-touch controls from Live View. The included 16GB microSD card (expandable to 256GB) has the capacity to store many days of recorded motion detection. In August, Swann discontinued Google Home support. The Swann Security app requires no monthly fees to use! The “No Fee” option will provide unlimited Motion Alert recordings, up to the capacity of the microSD card. However, to add People, Pet, Car & Package Alerts plus Rich Notifications to phone alerts, you need to subscribe to one of Swann’s Secure+ Plans, starting at $4.99/month, which also includes 60 days of cloud storage. The EVO Wireless Solar Security Camera does not include any free cloud recording, as such all recordings must be accessed from the microSD card, and retrieval speed is subject to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network speed. Users must weigh the monthly cost of Secure+ for the ability to review their detected motion events quickly or if their home network is down. A free trial of Secure+ is included with purchase.

The video and audio quality is better than I expected. It only took a few minutes to set up. I could clearly see people and animals, day and night. And, I can easily hold a conversation with people. The siren scares off critters. I actually think this will be great to keep an eye on my shed with no wiring and no subscription necessary. Well worth it.

Love the camera! I use this now instead of my other doorbell cam and have it attached to my front porch post. This has better quality image, voice / talk feature is clearer and the zoom capability is 1000X better. The charge lasts all day and I've never had it fall below 50%, even on cloudy days. Great quality and amazing cam! Easy 1-2 minute install.

Easy install, setup and sync, Love the resolution and angel of view. Partial shade but it still charges! Install could have gone a little easier. The screws provided did not want to penetrate the wood, but Ihad some stainless self driving screws handy. Not complaining, just suggesting an improvement.

Solar Outdoor Security Camera

We bought this to be placed at our cabin. We are excited to see how the 2 way talk will work when we are not on the property. So far nobody has given us a chance to... which i guess is a good thing. The night vision has picked up a lot of animals. We love it for the storage and motion detection. So far no people have been picked up but we are thankful for that. We needed something Solar powered for the area we wanted it to be placed so this works perfect for our needs.

This is a great budget solar camera. Easy to install and with the build in solar support, there is no need to get additional solar panel to power the device and no wiring required. There is a slight lag in live view due to wireless connection, but overall very satisfied.

This is a great wireless add on to any existing swann system. quick easy set up and no additional hardware required. has a slightly lower quality than my existing cameras but it will barely be noticeable in most instances
