I did a lot of Internet research on these solar-powered pool fountains and was convinced that the Swimline product was a really good one. Maybe it is; I don't know. The unit I received was defective; it powered down as soon as it contacted water (kind of defeats its purpose). Spreetail would not entertain a return of my defective unit because my request for a refund was outside their 15-day return window. Best Buy offered no assistance, either. I paid $65 (plus tax) for this device. That's kind of expensive for a product that essentially has a 15-day warranty. On top of that, my wife had purchased this as a Father's Day gift for me. So it ended up spending most of its "warranty period" wrapped up and waiting for me to open it on Father's Day. I will not buy another Spreetail product again, and I will avoid doing business with Best Buy, unless I have no choice.
