For this being my first Nintendo Switch 2 game, I was left in surprise for how much information about the system there is. I don’t like the fact that this costs $10 for a tech demo, but I got this game with a $5 certificate, so I won’t complain that much. The mini-games included are nice to have, which show the capabilities of the Switch 2. There are many quizzes throughout the game, testing you on what you’ve learned about each different console feature. If there’s one thing I don’t like about this (apart from the price), is that some mini-games require the Camera and Pro Controller 2 accessories, therefore paywalling out everybody else from 100%ing the game (though there is an in-game cheat to bypass said requirement). If you manage to complete every quiz, mini-game, etc., you’ll be left with learning everything about the Switch 2, which personally makes this the definitive information dump of the system.

Great game. I enjoyed the in depth console 3d models and how the mini games were realted

I got this game at launch. There’s more informational content in here than gameplay, which isn’t necessarily bad but don’t expect there to be much of a ‘game’ here. It’s definitely a tech demo first and foremost with a lot of trivia and neat showcases of what’s new on Switch 2. Only buy this if you’re curious what all is new when you get your console, and if you really want to try out the minigames; otherwise, just watch an overview video to learn all the tidbits.

This “game” is filled with boring quizzes that should be removed. I only got it because of Switch 2 launch hype, but this should be free although they did put a lot of content in the game that made it somewhat justify 10$. Still save up for an actual game instead

Welcome Tour is a great little informative piece of software for those who enjoy learning about the features of the new system, gaining behind-the-scenes insights on the hardware, and playing some interactive tech demos.

If we put the price tag aside for a minute, this demo is actually really fun if youre the type to sit down for a minute and read and test out what the switch 2 can do, very thorough tour of literally everything even the accessories if you have those.

This is literally a paid manual, Iwata is rolling in his grave.

The game feels very Nintendo in the best of ways. Yes it's not free, but it's cute, relaxing to play, and there are many surprising details about the Switch 2 that even engineers like myself weren't aware of mentioned in game. To truly 100% it you'll need a controller with GL/GR buttons, but past that it's a whole lot of fun in a tiny package.

People are weird. 1-2 Switch 8 years ago was $50 and not included with the Switch. No one cried. WT is only $10 and probably has more content/enjoyment and yet the uninformed internet cries because it isnt in the box. Figure that one out. If you like Nintendo polished oddball minigames then this is for you. The quiz stuff is optional but does have some interesting tidbits here and there. Most of the info is basic otherwise. There are also fun demos that show off new featurea. You do have to run thru gigantic versions of various Switch 2 hardware, find the placards of various hardware features to go to the next area. Breezy light fun work. Each area has a few minigames with multiple variations to unlock with medals earned from playing them well enough. Not specifically setup for 2 players but pass the controller back and forth and try to best your friend or sibling or parents adds to the fun.

Had this been included with the Switch 2, most players would have checked it out for a few hours and actually enjoyed themselves. But not including it and then having the audacity to charge $10 for this is a bridge too far. There are a handful of enjoyable minigames and the presentation is cute, but this is all style and no substance. The bulk of this game are quizzes that feel more like work than fun. Add in the fact that in order to experience all aspects of the game, players will need to shell out additional money for a webcam and either pro controller or charging grip. Don't let your curiosity get the best of you, and skip this one.
That being said it has some cool stuff in it and theres a charm to it

The game isn't too deep, but it was nice to have something to play while I waited for my physical copy of Mario Kart to arrive. I honestly learned a lot about the specs of the system that I didn't even know I wanted to learn. The minigames are pretty engaging and it's fun to use the mouse mode for them.

Very much a welcome tour of your switch 2. Most things were self explanatory and obvious but some things were new and informative. The mini games are the best part and the easiest things that give you a sense of what's new with the Switch 2. My favorite was the Dodge the Spike Balls Pt.2 i havent unlocked pt.3 yet but excited to get there :D

The game itself is good and beneficial to a new Switch 2 owner. The issue is that it should have been included in the game price. I would recommend this to anyone starting new on the Switch 2 system.

A good time waster, and the animations are really well done. Does a good job of showing off Switch 2’s new features.

Good game. It's going to get overshadowed because it should of been a pack-in, but it's whatever.

The video game is intuitive and quite good, although it should have come included with the console.

Education on a console is helpful but as long as it’s executed well. This doesn’t meet this requirement and while the demos are cool you can’t progress unless you meet a specific requirement for each area. You may be better off learning about the console via YouTube or games such as Mario kart world and donkey Kong banana. PlayStation did a better job with Astros playroom and it was free

I was able to get this discounted thanks to a bestbuy coupon. For the price it is a decent value. It does a good job of providing the ins and outs of the switch 2 but it definitely should have been bundled in.
