Customer Ratings & Reviews

It’s hard to show in pictures how beautiful the screen on this Nintendo Switch is. You have to see it for yourself in person. If you’re reading this, I’m going to assume you already own a switch or switch lite. I happened to own a Og day 1 Nintendo switch and a switch lite, and I knew I wanted this OLED switch the minute they announced it. OLED screens are a technical marvel and are truly beautiful. I like many others am a little disappointed that the switch didn’t get a new processor for better performance but I am still happy with my purchase. The screen alone makes all the games look beautiful. Colors are vivid and contrast is amazing. When you play it in a dark room, the screen looks like it’s off when a black scene is displayed. Besides the new screen, there isn’t a whole lot new with this switch, the dock was improved a little along with the kickstand on the back. That is also a welcome update as the old models always tended to fall over because the kickstand was weak and small. Games still load a little slow, when compared to phones and newer consoles, so don’t expect a speed increase. It comes with the same power adapter and joycon grip as before. Would I recommend this? Yes and No. if you love your Nintendo switch and want the new beautiful screen, then I think you’ll be very happy buying it. If you’re ok with the screen quality of the older models and want to save money, then don’t rush out and buy it. Not much has changed. If you’re on the fence, try to get your hands on one to see the display in person.

I upgraded my switch from the original 2017 hardware and I will say this OLED version is a HUGE upgrade. Everything about the console is improved from the bigger and higher quality display to the complete rework of the kickstand. I haven’t experienced the joycon drift yet (hoping there isn’t any), but I do know that Nintendo will fix your controllers for free if you send it back to them so I’m not too worried. However, I will recommend that anyone who gets a switch do get an sd card (if you’re planning to get ANY games digitally) as the storage on the device itself is quite small. Very satisfied, do recommend!

I owned the regular version of the Switch prior to getting this one, so I already knew I liked playing Switch games. When I bought the OLED version, I was not sure how the upgrades would feel in practice. However, I am very happy with them. The larger OLED screen is a great enhancement that does not tank the battery life in any noticeable way, and the kickstand improvement makes propping this up to watch some stuff in bed really nice. Those two upgrades alone made this a worthwhile purchase over the regular model for me. My one drawback is I filled up the internal storage trying redownload all my games (the same problem I encountered on the original version - it is not unique to this model). You will probably want to get a MicroSD memory card if you plan to load up on digital games.

As a gaming enthusiast, I recently purchased the Nintendo Switch OLED Model gaming console, and here is my review of this gaming device. Firstly, the OLED screen of the new Switch left a profound impression on me. The screen boasts vibrant colors and high contrast, making game visuals more vivid and lifelike. Whether in handheld mode or connected to the TV, the picture quality is astonishing. Especially when playing visually stunning games like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," the new OLED screen truly enhances the gaming experience. Secondly, the performance of the Switch OLED Model has also seen significant improvements. Loading times are shorter, and games run more smoothly, allowing me to dive into the gaming world faster. The increased memory and processing power also mean I can download more games and apps without worrying about storage space issues. Another pleasing update is the upgraded built-in storage of the new Switch, which is now 64GB. While it might still be insufficient for some players, it's a step up from the previous 32GB. However, it's still recommended for players to equip a microSD card to further expand storage space, especially for those who download a lot of games. Apart from performance upgrades, the Switch OLED Model retains the versatile nature that the Switch series is known for. Whether for solo gaming, multiplayer cooperation, or using various control methods, this gaming console caters to the needs of different types of players. However, the new Switch isn't without some controversy. Some individuals might feel that the upgrades aren't substantial enough, especially considering the increase in price. Additionally, some players hope the new Switch will address certain issues that existed in previous versions, such as controller drift. All in all, the Nintendo Switch OLED Model gaming console is an intriguing upgrade. Its OLED screen and performance improvements make for a remarkable gaming experience. Despite some controversies, it remains a solid choice for players seeking better visuals and performance.

I am over the moon satisfied with the OLED Switch! I never owned the first Switch model but have played on a friend's. I can definitely say purchasing the OLED for the extra money is well worth it. The increased size of the screen is fantastic for a handheld console and the OLED black is just jaw-droppingly beautiful. I love the joy-cons to controller feature as well as it makes the jump from Xbox to the Switch very smooth. The joy-cons are also comfortable by themselves. I would have to say they fit in your hand nicer than the Wii remote did, in my opinion. Nintendo just did everything right with the OLED console. My TV is also an OLED so the transition from playing on the go to on the big screen incredible. The kickstand is wonderful. Makes playing super smooth and sharing your screen easy when friends are watching. The only thing I would suggest to Nintendo is that they make the HDMI cable longer. It is rather short and made it hard to keep my cable management clutter-free. Note: the top left corner has a bubble from when I put the screen protector I purchased on. There is nothing wrong with the screen itself. I play a good majority on the TV so I'm not too bothered by the bubble at the present time. I would highly recommend a screen protector so that you do not have to worry about the screen getting damaged as you slide the console into the docking station.

I came from the OG switch first gen (non-upgraded battery) so this was nice step up for me. I was worried at first thinking the OLED upgrade would not be worth the $50 premium, but let me tell you — the extra screen real estate (almost an inch) along with the vibrant colors and higher peak brightness was enough to justify the higher price point, especially when playing handheld mode on games with a lot of action and finer details. If you’re like me who bounces between both dock and handheld mode, then this upgrade will be a welcome one. We use dock mode for family fun, but I also have twin 1-yr-olds who can’t fall asleep unless I’m with them, so I’ll find myself playing handheld at night. I have to say playing ToTK on the OLED is a game changer and much easier on the eyes. Overall, if you’re exclusively a handheld gamer, then the Lite variant will be enough (wifey has the Coral switch Lite and mostly plays Animal Crossing). On the other hand if you find yourself playing local multiplayer often or not fond of handheld gaming, then the original (non-OLED) switch is enough. For those who plan on using best of both worlds, I recommend the OLED switch variant. Regardless of what model you choose, all switch variants have equal processing power, so no performance is forfeited.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is one of the best options for portable and hybrid consoles, as it offers an OLED screen with more vivid colors, better contrast and a much more immersive gaming experience. Its renewed design, with a more stable kickstand and improved sound, makes playing in portable mode really comfortable and enjoyable. When you buy it at Best Buy, you get the peace of mind of a good price, reliable availability and adequate customer service, which makes the purchase much safer and more satisfying.

Bought this for my daughter and i was utterly impressed,i have all the other latest consoles but this is alot of fun,the clarity and picture is very eye catching, very smooth graphics along with an extensive library I didn’t think they could top the original Switch... but the Nintendo Switch 2 is straight-up next level. ✅ Graphics? Smooth like butter. Games look and run crazy good, especially in handheld mode. ✅ Battery? Lasts way longer than the OG. No more praying it makes it through a flight. ✅ Speed? Instant load times. No more staring at screens. ✅ Backwards compatible too — my old library still hits. And that new OLED+ display? Man, it makes Zelda and Metroid feel like you're holding a PS5 in your hands. If you’re on the fence… don’t be. This is peak portable gaming. Nintendo just reminded the world why they’re untouchable. 10/10. Worth every dollar.

recently got my hands on the Nintendo Switch OLED, and I wanted to share my honest thoughts about it. I've been playing around with it for about three days now, and I think Its awesome. The Display: The first thing that caught my attention was the screen. The OLED display on the Switch is amazing. I mean, the colors are so vibrant and the contrast is just amazing. It really makes the games pop and brings them to life. Whether I'm exploring vast open worlds or playing charming indie games, the OLED screen makes everything look so darn good. Portability and Design: Now one of the things I love about the Switch OLED is how portable it is. I can take it with me wherever I go and play games on the fly. Plus, I can switch between handheld and docked modes, which gives me so much flexibility. The console itself looks sleek and premium, too. It's definitely an eye-catcher.

I recently upgraded to the Nintendo Switch OLED model, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. From the stunning display to the seamless gaming experience, this handheld console is a true game-changer. The standout feature of the OLED model is, of course, the brilliant OLED screen. The colors are vibrant, and the contrast is exceptional, making every game come to life with a level of detail that's truly immersive. Whether I'm exploring the vast landscapes of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" or racing through the streets of "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," the visuals are simply breathtaking. The enhanced audio quality is another aspect that deserves praise. The built-in speakers deliver clear and crisp sound, adding an extra layer to the gaming experience. Of course, for those who prefer a more immersive audio experience, the option to connect headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack is a thoughtful addition. Portability has always been a strong suit of the Switch, and the OLED model maintains this versatility. The sleek design, coupled with the vibrant screen, makes gaming on the go an absolute delight. The battery life has also seen a subtle improvement, providing extended play sessions without constantly worrying about running out of juice. The hybrid nature of the console allows for a seamless transition between handheld and docked modes, ensuring that the gaming experience remains enjoyable regardless of the player's preference. The controls are responsive, and the Joy-Cons work flawlessly, providing a level of precision that's essential for a satisfying gaming session. In conclusion, the upgraded display, improved audio, and overall design make it a must-have for both dedicated Nintendo fans and newcomers alike. Whether you're a casual gamer or a seasoned enthusiast, the Switch OLED model is a five-star investment that delivers on all fronts.

I love the nintendo switch so much! I’ve been wanting one since FOREVER. The graphics and quality on the OLED compared to the normal switch my sister has is just insane. It’s also so much better if you connect to a tv for a larger display and better view. Love it so much and so portable

Got this as a gift for myself and I really enjoy it so far. I used to have the original switch but I really like the nicer screen. It’s portable and the battery life is great :)

For portable players, this upgrade is a huge one, the increased size and quality of the display, the new Kickstand and Speakers add up to a great value! The Contrast and Colors on the screen make me want to go back and play all the games in my library just to see how much bigger and better they look in portable now. The blacks are true black, and the general picture just pops significantly more and it really must be seen in person to appreciate. The size of the screen is also insane, while only about an inch bigger, in real use it feels WAYYYYYY more sizable and immersive. The Kickstand is similar to a Surface Pro, infinitely adjustable and reliable, doesn't fall off If you look at it wrong thank god. The speakers seem much clearer and louder but I haven't compared side by side. Also, the Dock is quite nice to look at, added Ethernet is a bonus as well!

Got this as an upgrade from the regular Nintendo switch. Long story short, best purchase ever. Games run nuch smoother, with no lagging. Graphics are so much better, as is battery life. The larger screen even makes playing in hand held mode feel more natural, and I can actually play without being connected to my TV constantly. If you can afford the extra between this model and tye original switch, hands down the oled wins.

Bought this switch as a gift for myself for doing well in life/school! I am absolutely obsessed with it and almost never put it down XD! The screen is a great size, the graphics are amazing! I think connecting it to a TV is better, but the switch screen is not bad at all! The battery life is great, I’ve had this switch for almost 2 years and rarely have to charge it in between uses. The storage device automatically on the switch is great, but considering how many games I have downloaded on the switch I did have to purchase a storage device, but one or two games that will keep you busy for a while can be downloaded without any issues!

Getting the Nintendo Switch OLED (White) honestly felt like such a fun little upgrade moment for me. When I first took it out of the box, I just stared at it for a second because it looks so clean and sleek. The white Joy Cons and dock give it this fresh, modern vibe that makes it feel a bit more special than a regular console The OLED screen is what really won me over. The colors pop so much more, the blacks look richer, and playing in handheld mode feels way more immersive. I didn’t expect the difference to be that noticeable, but it really is. I also love the improved kickstand it’s actually sturdy now, which makes tabletop mode way more practical. The sound feels clearer too, and switching between handheld and docked mode is still smooth and effortless. Overall, it just feels like a thoughtful, polished upgrade from Nintendo. I’ve genuinely enjoyed using it and would happily recommend it to anyone considering it.

I’m very happy with my new Nintendo Switch OLED. The screen is bright, colorful, and makes games look so much better than the original model. The build quality feels solid, and the improved kickstand is a big plus for tabletop mode. Battery life is good, and I enjoy how smooth everything runs. It’s perfect for both handheld and docked play. Overall, I think this is the best version of the Switch and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves gaming.

As an avid gamer, I recently had the pleasure of diving into the world of gaming with this stunning device, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Let's start with the display. The OLED screen is a game-changer, quite literally. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is striking, and the blacks are deep and rich, making every game come to life in ways I never thought possible on a handheld console, the visuals were simply breathtaking. But it's not just about the visuals; one of the standout features of the Switch OLED is its versatility. Whether you prefer to play in handheld mode, tabletop mode, or docked mode, the Switch adapts to your preferences seamlessly. The Joy-Con controllers are responsive and comfortable to hold. In terms of performance, the Switch OLED delivers where it counts. Games load quickly, and the system runs smoothly without any noticeable lag or stuttering. Overall, the Nintendo Switch OLED is more than just a gaming console. Whether you're a casual gamer or a seasoned veteran, the Switch OLED is a must-have addition to your gaming arsenal. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is a fantastic upgrade for anyone who enjoys handheld gaming. The new 7-inch OLED screen is incredibly vibrant and colorful, making games look better than ever. The console itself feels more solid, thanks to an improved kickstand that's perfect for playing on a table. Plus, the sound quality has been enhanced with better speakers, making for a more immersive experience without needing headphones. The extra 64GB of storage is a nice bonus, giving you more space to download and store games. For those who play a lot online, the new dock comes with a wired LAN port for a more stable connection. However, it's worth noting that the overall performance and battery life are the same as the original Switch. If you primarily play on your TV, the upgrades might not be as noticeable. But for handheld gamers, the improved screen and sound quality make the Switch OLED a worthwhile investment.
