Geek Squad Refurbished Good - Switch – OLED Model w/Joy-Con

The Nintendo switch is a “game” changer in the console world. Not only does it allow you to play on the go with a very vibrant OLED screen, but the ability to hook it up to a larger TV and not lose quality is a fantastic feature. The games are great, quality is great, and is a blast to play either on your own or with the whole family. I bought this model from Best Buy refurbished since it was slightly cheaper than a brand new one, and have been very happy with the purchase. Whoever does the refurbishing at Best Buy deserves a raise! Whenever you buy something refurbished, there is always hesitation when it comes to quality control. However, with this OLED switch, the quality is as if it was brand new. Must Buy.

It arrived with everything tossed into a Ziploc baggie. Like the kind that you would put a sandwich in. I’m honestly surprised there was no scratches or scuffs. However, I can’t really complain because it’s a perfectly working OLED switch (in my case)! I had the option to either buy the OG old switch for $299 or buy this refurbished OLED switch for only $10 more! I don’t know about you but for me that was a really easy decision! Though I was worried, I am very happy with my purchase! However, I will not be giving this five stars, due to the fact that it arrived in a baggie. I feel like it could’ve been in a more secure box. The way the switch and everything was thrown in feels like they were the french fries at the bottom of your bag lol. Also, sorry for the wonky photos. The first two are screenshots from the video I took the day I got it in the last one is from today. (The screen only looks weird because of my phone camera)

So, I was a little hesitant about buying a refurbished console, but this unit has exceeded my expectations. The box itself looked a little used, but when I opened it up, everything looked factory fresh. Everything was packaged/wrapped perfectly. The screen is beautiful and everything works exactly as it should. I have tested multiple games, both digital downloads and physical cards--all work perfectly. I've owned this for over a month and it still performs as it should. I love it and would highly recommend a refurbished unit to save yourself a little cash.

So I was a little skeptical about buying something that was refurbished, I’m always used to beyond it brand new but if I have the chance to save money I totally will, so I took the risk even though some reviews weren’t so positive. I was very surprised when I got it in the mail. Everything was perfect. It works like brand new, everything came as if it was new, this was totally worth it and I definitely recommend!!!

The first unit we got felt refurbished, no plastics on any of the joycons, switch unit, chargers. Then we tried testing everything and I recommend anyone who buys this product do so. From downloading a bunch of different games, checking the joycons, hooking up the dock to the tv, and battery life. Check it all. The first unit we got had a problem with probably the graphics chip since some games had streaks of lines while some didn't. Just went to a best buy store and had it replaced. The replacement came in about 3 days later and was in much better condition. It felt brand new! Had plastic wrappings and not a single flaw! Would recommend but just be sure to check it thoroughly so that you can get it replaced if need be.
