I’ll admit I was a little skeptical spending $400 on this switch, even though it came with the Pokémon game and poke ball controller. But I can’t say enough great things about this switch. The back design on the switch with the eevees and pikachus is beyond adorable. I wasn’t sure about the yellow and tan joycons but I was pleasantly surprised! It all works together so beautifully. Definitely a stellar product and would buy again!

This was hands down the best purchase I could have made for myself. this limited edition is my favorite console, and the pikachu and eevee design is super adorable. Highly recommend, and I always get the accidental on these types of purchases just in case.

I purchased this system for my son’s birthday and needless to say, he loves it! Extremely simple set up and you spend very little time before you are up and running. I think the unique pokemon docking station and joy cons adds an awesome touch for any avid pokemon fan. The Pikachu and Evee colors on the dock/joy cons really complement each other. There are a couple of things that I love about this system: 1) The versatility. You can connect it to your big screen to play through the dock that comes included via HDMI. You can make it portable by playing it it like a tablet. It is very nice that you can play by yourself or with others in any of the modes. 2) Ease of use. It’s pretty self explanatory. The cartridges go into the cartridge slot. The memory card goes in the memory card slot behind the kick stand. The joy cons have plus and minus signs you match up and then slide them on. The only thing we ran into was my fiancé put the plastic piece that turns the joy con into a separate controller backwards and it took awhile to separate them again without breaking anything. You power it on and you’re good to go besides some basic set up items in the beginning. 3) The selection of games. There are so many different titles out there that it wasn’t difficult to pick and choose games. There are titles for my son’s age and to be honest, there are titles out there that I would be interested in purchasing for myself too. 4) Parental controls. Now a days with all this technology at everyone’s disposal, it is difficult to protect young children and what they have access to. With the switch, you can download an app on your smartphone and tweak a lot of features like what games they are able to play and for how long as well. It’s more of a reward system to be able to play instead of just playing as long as they want which I think more children should have. I see it now a days where kids are just glued to their technology and they don’t read, play, or use their imagination to pass their time. Even though there are a lot of things I love about this system, there are some quirks that can be improved on. 1) The ac adapter. It comes as one piece, One end plugs into the electrical outlet and the other is USB-C. The problem with the adapter is that it is a fairly short cable. A lot of people I know have stated that it is the average size length for the cord which is about 6’, but how the entertainment center is set up, the dock sits about 10’ away so there is no way to reach the HDMI and electrical outlet without redoing my entire entertainment center which is not feasible. The silly thing is that I purchased a separate Nintendo ac adapter where it’ll accept a longer USB-C cable, but it won’t work because the cable is not an official Nintendo cable. It’ll charge the switch, but it will not display on the tv through the dock without the official Nintendo AC adapter. 2) The battery life. For games that are more graphically intensive i.e. Zelda. The console lasts for about 3 hours or so. Especially when we’re flying or on road trips where there isn’t always a charger available, the fun runs out pretty quick. I guess I am use to cellphones or tablets that last almost the entire day. 3) The internal memory. The switch comes with 32GB of internal memory. With how a lot of things are going digital now, 32GB isn’t sufficient amount of space to do the every day things are looking to use it for. There is a slot for external memory, but if you wanted to download games on to your switch, then you might be able to fit a few games on it before having to go to an external micro SD card. For example, Legend of Zelda, I believe, takes up about 13-14GBs of the internal memory of storage. One game takes up almost half of the storage. With how memory intensive a lot of games are, with the amount of storage the switch comes with it wouldn’t be enough for the amount of games I would like. Overall, it is a solid system. It gives the fun and enjoyment of how the Nintendo Wii was when it first came out. It is great fun for a solo player and fun for the family also.

Nintendo has struggled in the past after the Game Cube. The Switch is definitely a game changer and a keeper to the Nintendo trilogy. It's freaking awesome to play this docked at home on the bigger screen then take it while you're on the go. It's designed to never miss or feel left out id the gaming world regardless of your daily routine. Idk how playstation and xbox will keep up with this new design from Nintendo. I own a PS4 and I used to play it religiously, but ever since I bought the switch I cannot put it down.

The other Switch bundles before this one really didn’t have anything to offer other than digital download of the game, sometimes an exclusive pouch, and a regular plain switch with either the black/red and blue joycons. Boring!!! Now this comes with two theme color joy-cons that are exclusive to this bundle, a dock that has the colorful pikachu and eevee on the front as well as decal of pikachu and eevee silhouettes on the switch itself. Also includes the Pokeball Plus and full download of the game. Such a great themed bundle! Highly recommend this bundle over the rest.

The Switch doesn’t have the sheer power of the other two consoles, but does have a plethora of good titles. The console is small and light, so is easily mobile unlike the Xbox and PlayStation. The monitor itself can even be detached from the console for mobile gaming

It's still the Switch, but it's nice to have exclusive colors and the pic of Pikachu and Eevee on the dock. The game itself with the Pokeball Plus is very fun and a good nostalgia trip. Even though this bundle has a premium price to it compared to cheaper alternatives because of Black Friday, I would still buy this in a heartbeat.

The switch is great. It is fun to play and nice to be able to use mobile or on your TV. Since the switch is still new it doesn’t have very many good original games with modern graphics. It’s also not so good for people with big hands if you are using only the joy cons. The battery life is decent but could be improved as well for on the go gaming. Despite all that, the switch is fun and has a lot to offer if you do your research into how much everything costs and the type of games they have to fit your style of play. Happy gaming!

Very cute design—I love it! I grew up playing Pokémon and it’s awesome that I can give that same experience to my daughter. Very easy to set up and download the game. Parental controls are easy to manage

I pre-ordered for Christmas and it was delivered in great condition and we haven’t had any issues in the last 3 months. I only wish it came with more memory. Even the external games require memory and coupling that with downloaded games we quickly had to purchase a micro SD to accommodate both. When you run out of memory no games will play.

Wife got it for me I loved looks amazing great graphics and the game is pretty cool great collectors item for any pokemon fan out there but kinda expensive

Bought the bundle just for the limited edition console. Don't really use the pokeball plus. Let's Go Pikachu is a decent game

Its so handy and fun. I love how i can take it with me anywhere and play it on my tv too. And i love the pickachu and eevee design.

This was the first unique Switch to come to the market, and because of that, I was so ready to jump on it. It's a nice version of the Switch. There's decals of Pikachu and Eeevee on the back, with a Pikachu and Eevee front and center on the dock. The colors are pretty clever with the straps matching the secondary colors of the Pokemon. It's a fun design, but unfortunately mine came with a defect that gave the fan a clicking sound. When I had it sent to a Nintendo repair center, they ended up scratching the entire backside which I was trying so hard to protect. I was very disappointed, but at least I'm still able to play games.

When I was little, I had the Gameboy Color that had Pikachu's cheek that would light up when it was turned on. I got rid of that and shortly after regretted it. Then this came out, I finally had a chance to redeem myself. First of all, it's adorable and the only thing that holds a candle to it is the Animal Crossing Switch. However, for any Pokemon fan this is a no brainer.

I have always loved everything nintendo creates, and it was hard to say no to a Pokemon themed nintendo switch. I love the unique joycons and how they match the dock. The game is fun even though its a change from what I'm use to with pokemon. Very high recommendation.

Just speaking on the edition, it looks fantastic. One thing you really don't get to see until you get it out of the package is the backplate. If you are a fan of Pokemon you will love this edition.

What’s not to love?? Pikachu and Eevee are adorable and the switch is such a great console. The game is okay, but the special edition console is so cute that it’s worth it. Pokeball controller is gimicky but hey, I’ve played Pokémon my entire life and love every bit of holding a pokeball to play Pokémon!

Really great system! This is my first switch and very happy with it

It’s has great graphics, good sound , easy to use.
